For god sake someone offer Ian Jacobs some big cash to come back and put Ozkan back in his place because hes a big discrase...lol, nahhh come on guys lets get the lad back with big $$$$.If the price is right he will go for it for sure(Ian).I bet Ian was watching the Ozkan V's Stan fight and his knuckles would of been itching and the hairs standing up on the back of his neck!!!

Take it easy Jese Belle,

These guys have fought each other twice and stand 1 win each, Gurkan is not that untouchable.

I spoke to Ozkan earlier today.

The fight or fights he is next hoping for totally blew me away, but I'll let someone else tell you guys about it. Far more exciting than a Jacobs fight I think.

The talk of stepping up to the challenge if accepted will hopefully apply to another Star fighter that will hopefully do the weight cross-over to make it to 75kg.

Gurkan, no more heavy-weights please.

Janer.. can I make a stupid guess/hope !?!

Considering Paul said "it blew me away"..

I'm thinking.. no.. you couldn't say..

Tibor Vermes?

That's the only opponent I can think that'd blow me away if they rematched!!!

Newblokes - Vermes is in the lockup at the moment - not sure when or even if he has been released - being a big Vermes fan - I believe at this point in time - Ozkan would beat him.

Thanks Krama.. I kinda was aware of that.. but my imagination ran wild a bit when I read Paul's "blew me away quote"!

Kinda praying for a rematch

Yeah - doubt it

Hang on a sec..

I have Paul's quote here :

"weight cross-over to make it to 75kg."

I'm thinking especially the words : make it to.. now I gotta think < 75 normal fighting weight..

Who's stepping up.. an old gym buddy ... ooohhhh!!!

Just thought!!

Zambidis !! ??

Zambidis has gotta b it, 75kg
zambidis must put on a few kilos while ozkan must lose a few
makes the perfect match for a 75kg fight
and it is a fight we would all love to c
if it ever did happen who would u think will win at the 75kg weight?

I thought Zambidis as soon as I read the posts. Spill Janer, is it??

Guys whoever it is I guess we'll have to wait, but Zam does sound good, but I doubt he'll knock Gurkan out. No one else has.

As for earlier in the thread (Axekick157), I believe Ozkan v Jacobs is only 1 - 0 to IJ.
Please let me know about the other fight.

Finally, some credit must go to Paul Fyfield - he has done Gurkan wonders!

Sorry guys, if it isn't Zam - maybe Paul Slowinski with K1 rules now that would be a fight!!!

If it actually went ahead, I'd put my money on the underdog- Zambidis, simply because I think Mike has better defences when trading punches, he doesn't drop his non punching hands, he keeps it on the side of his face. Gurkan likes the one hand up the other one down style when throwing combo's. No offence Janer and Jeze belle, by the way, I think I smell an online romance cooking..How cute!!

if Jacobs came back at the moment Gurkan would make a mess of him.
When Jacobs tried to make a come back he was so slow. At this stage i don't think gurkan sould bother with him...
Now my guess ia that the fight will be with Hallford.
Am i write janer

Info at www.tariksolak.com.au.

Nandex is meant to be fighing themalakis for main event with some k-1 qualifiers on the night as well including peck, slowinski, etc. They threw up a bunch of names but don't know which ones r fighting yet.

Weak main event if u ask me for a Tarik Solak promotion.

Hey Krama - .. this was in another post :

"Also, heard Schiavello say on the PPV that Tibor Vermes is making a comeback. The kid dubbed Mr Perfect, would be good seeing a rematch against Gurkan"

Perhaps I kinda was correct ! Whoo!

Mick I was wondering if you could tell me what Ian's results were from his four fights he had when he returned?

mick
21-02-2003, 05:10 PM
he won them all. But look who he fought.
Daniel tai took Gurkan 5 rounds.
I don't think he fought anybody like gurkan.
