our next muay thai warriors show is on the 4th of august and we are having trouble finding kurt an opponent.
we would like someone to put there hand up to fight him.
kurt fights anywhere from 63.5kg to 66kg,there must be someone out there.

Kurt Finlayson Vs Joel Fisher!?!?!

OR

Kurt Finlayson Vs Meas Chantar

What happended to Kurt fighting on KOF the other night? I thought that was meant to be his comeback?

Hope he gets a matchup and we can see him back in the ring.

Who is Kurt training with now? Big experience gap for Joel but given his current form I wouldn't put a win out of the question, he is going up and up.

hey big fella hope ya enjoyed Adelaide knees of fury SAMI B here just letting ya know Alan Walkington who missed out here on friday night will fight The KILLER KURT . At 66kg under full thai rules my boy is keen knowing and seeing Kurt in action with all his experience we would be a chance against anyone at this weight an opportunity to mix it with one of the greats of the sport.

hi guys,
we have asked joel fisher if he wanted the fight but it was turned down.
hi REX,66kg would be as high as kurt would like to fight.
hi jabout, sounds good, although it would be good to fight an Aussie who is looking to step up.
hi sicarii,is'nt Brodie still am?
hi sam, that would be a huge step up for Alan, but will keep it in mind.
keep them coming.

I think it is a wise decision that Joel(or his crew) turned down the fight. Kurt has far too much experience at this point and has fought many world class opponents.

Meas Chantar would be a good opponent..

I think the reason they turned down the fight is probably because he is fighting on Brute Force 10 just two weeks after. They probably dont wanna risk an injury.

Thanks samuaythai I agree a big step but hey
from what i ve seen in the past, boys that step up to the challenges really grow in this sport eg. SOREN FIGHTS JWP lost the fight but learnt so much from that battle goes to thailand at lumpinee an beats the thai champ in his own domain. AWESOME. JWP a great ambassador for the sport has given back to his fellow fighters the opportunity to gain experience and put his own reputation on the line, n there s fighters out there that can thank JWP for helping Aus thaiboxers to become the next breed of champions. EG. Soren ,Preacher,Foley .

I'm quite sure if you want to pay him Brodie will take your money!!! But he is already booked for Hong Kong in August. Not sure of the exact date though.
Think we can get Pixie down to Welterweight again now so maybe keep that in mind but I think August for might be too close to the War on the Shore show..
Talk to Mark..

I think Reinhardt would be alittle bit light for Kurt.Isn't he around 60 kgs ???

Would be good to see the current WMC AUST champ get the fight.

why not match him up with Yoddecha? He is still around and very keen to fight Australia's best MT fighters under FTR.

I loved watching Kurt fight a few years back...glad to see him return. Finlayson/Yoddecha would be a cracking fight between 2 great thai stylists.

Seriously though, some people should put their $ where their mouth is.
Chantha will be in that weight range.
