If it's natural to kill, how come men have to go into training to learn how?

Early indications are that this is going to be a long day. So Johnny, better put that bottle of red on ice. Thanks to the gyms who have already supplied competitors' details.
For once there will be no shortage of mod thai bouts. Already I am looking to match:
54kg (1 fighter)
74kg (1 fighter)
77 - 81kg (3 fighters)
85 - 87kg (3 fighters)
3 females: 51kg, 67kg, 71kg.
All mod thai competitors are novices, many with less than 6 months experience.
Hey Paul, I'm going to need your help on this one!
See you all soon

Are all those listed for mod thai bouts?

16 days to go. This Interclub is going to be a mod thai extravaganza with Geelong Muay Thai, Sor. Nak Soo, Karma Dojo and Taipan Muay Thai all well represented.
We still need more females to participate:
Females: 51kg, 67kg, 71kg - with knees
Females: 56kg - KB
I'm also trying to match an 11 y.o. male boxer, 35kg, from Eltham Boxing.
If any trainers can help with the above, please phone me.

Thanks to everyone who have supported this Saturday's Interclub. We have 12 gyms participating with approximately 80 competitors in total.
The final match-ups will be finalised tonight, so today is the last chance to enter in case you have been unsure as to whether or not to give it a go.
Competitors please arrive at 12:30pm to register and weigh-in.
Thanks again and I look forward to seeing everyone on the day.

Yesterday's Interclub had 44 bouts, making it the biggest and most successful one since we started it 10 years ago.
The day was about "grass roots" kickboxing/muay thai, with novice fighters all giving their best to do their trainers, gyms and themselves proud, in a spirit of fun and good sportsmanship.
Thank you to everyone/all the gyms for their support. Thanks to Matt Reid, the boys/girls from Numurkah and Geelong, for making the long trip. I hope it was worth it.
Thanks to Amy Gross for helping out with sparring. You would be surprised how much it means to a novice fighter to be able to tell their friends and family that they sparred the WMC Oceania Champ.
Last but not least, thanks to my partners/good friends John Scida and Hammer for helping to make the day a success.

Ben,
Thanks for organising the day, it was a great day and I had a ball.
It was good to see so many people there and a heap of younger guys and girls in there having a go.
Thanks to all of the officials/time keepers etc that worked all day.
Cheers,
Kane

Thanks for a great day guys, my boys had a ball. Some good looking prospects coming through the ranks in Vic. Very enjoyable day. When is the next one?

Sounds like it was a great day. Good to hear everyone had a ball. Couldn't make this one but it was only the 3rd time I missed it in 7 years.
Mat, They are usually on every 2-3 months.:)
