.Congratulations on John for another brilliant show. it was second to none.
cant rememeber all the results.do apologise if i am incorrect.
Adam Taylor beat Frank MCdonald on pts
Sandy Furner beat chico Lovini on pts.
George from Greect wond on points sory for you the other dude was. crowd went crazy when he walked into the ring
semi main event charlie bechaty beat Time Drury by KO to the head. its was a shame as it was pretty even up to that point.
The main even Yodeccha Kod Shannon F16 but head kick in hte second round. the first round they were jsut feeling each other out. second Yodecha stepped up the pace and did a spinning elbow. F16 was out cold and got he count. I beieve the fight should have ended their and thein. it was a pretty long 10 count. but to his creidt he wanted to go on and was still very groggy. then moments laer yodecha just finished with the head kick. referee stoffpage.
What a true chamion he is after the fight he hung around the ring side for a good 30mins taking photos and signing autographs. the poor bloke could not get to he dressing to get change.
Oh yeah after the fight the announcer mention hat it took months for the promoter to get a match up for Yodecha. Only Shanon put his hand up. sSo full credit to shannon for taking the challenge.
Yodecha trainer advised to everyone that he is putting a challenge for JWP to fight him. but only at 69KG. this would be a rumble if JWp acccepts.
once again congratulations to JNi for another brilliant promotiion
PS Got a flyer from the sho and it mention that Yodecha is hold a Muay thai seminar in Hurstville on the 29th april. unfortunalty ther is no contact number advised
cheers all

yod is a true thai champion, met him at kings b day 2001. he is a real killer. I have seen alot of dud thai come out and fight on this side of the world but yodecha is the real deal.

I have to disagree. This was a one sided affair. Tim Drury although I have seen him in wars before just didn't look right on the night. Something must of been up, but all credit to Charlie who just did what he did. He zeroed in on Tim's left leg from round one and was chopping relentlessly at his legs. Round one alone saw Tim's leg already slow him down unable to plant it properly for other kicks or punches.
By Round 4 that leg was cactus but Tim has a very tough spirit and hung in there. Charlie merely timed a perfect kick to the head.
I have to say though, in the last two fights Charlie has improved dramatically and is quickly becoming one of those fighters that "earn their keep".
However, as much as I loved watching Yod's fight I was so impressed by F16. He is a true warrior, a real fighter, humble as a lamb and tough as nails! The fact that he was the only person to put his hand up makes it even more special. I knew of this prior and after getting up after the first very strong spinning elbow I thought this guy has the heart of an absolute lion! Anyone else would of stayed down. That was a perfect and precise elbow. He found it in his gut to get up and continue on.
As much as I loved watching Yod, Shanan took my heart that night as he displayed nothing but that.
I respect him even more because he is a religous man and has found peace in his chosen religiousity.
He is a remarkable example of a MAN!
Kudos to you Shannon well done!
Yod's body was like it was chiselled out of granite! Amazing! His demeanor is so soft and humble. As bouncer said, he literally hung around getting cold just to take photos with people. I approached him to take one but when I saw the crowd I felt sorry for him not being able to at least get changed so I passed.
I took some videos of it but will only post round 2 of yods fight
Excuse the quality it was on a phone and have a laugh at the guys next to me in the crowd going off lol

well how bout he stops blowing sunshine up his own ar$e and ring JWP and ask for a fight. But it would ultimately depend on a promoter putting it on.
Sounds like another good show John.
Bad luck Chika.

Sandy Furner from fight rite(Rhett Junker) is continuing on her rise to top of womens Muay thai.
Her record is quite respectable and with another good win this fighter with looks, fitness, skill and humble nature will continue to be both a fans and promoters dream!
Another fine pproduct of Rhett's
Any pics of her???
It takes a BIG man to cry, it takes a BIGGER man to laugh at that man!!!

Well said HUMBLE, your right F-16 is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, in or out of muay thai circles. I had the absolute pleasure of living and training( Pad holding at BOONCHU) with Shannon for two years and there is no Question about his ticker it's as big as Phar Lap!
How's Yod's trainer putting out the Challage to JWP but saying he has to make 69kg's. I always thought if you want to challange some one you have to go to thier weight. Just my thoughts

Well what can I say???
Firstly well done Charlie, I certainly did not give you the fight I would have normally. I did not fire at all, win some loose some, after the fantastic 10 round war I had in England, I was thinking I would have been in fine form.
Like people have said, for some reason I was not in the normal spirit I usually fight at,,,,not sure too why, no excuses though, I did not preform, and I appologise to my fans that came to watch, the promoter and also to Charlie, as I should have given him much more to worry about.
I did not have the work rate, and motivation of normal. and as HUMBLE said, once that leg went, it took my focus off keeping those bloody hands up, and thats the only reason I got caught with that kick, wasn't even that hard, just on the sweet spot. (once again well done Charlie, you did what you had too do)
I thought about not continuing at the end of the fourth round as I also had an injured knee on the same leg, and was kicked during, making it hard to stand on, as you would have noticed. BUT me being me, I thought I have to go to the end, maybe I should have thrown it in, as atleast I wouldn't have been knocked out.
Ok thanks again anyway

Oh Forgot to say this was my first FULL THAI rules fight, so thanks Charlie for the new stiches,,,,lol.
If only went 20sec longer, would have finished, oh well next time.
Thanks John for putting me on the show. My supporters enjoyed the night, other than me going down,ha ha.
Some first time to the fights so a real EYE opener - so to speak .
Good luck with next show, and will be back to my normal self, for other shows.
So not to disapoint, I will fix the problem and be stronger for it next time. A loss just makes me more determined and focussed to find out why I did not fire like normal.
Thanks again to all.

bad luck Tim but great to see you taking on new challenges. Switching to MT does take time but i'm sure you will adapt and improve. I hope you were not badly hurt with the cut and KO and bounce bad strongly next fight.

My Bad, I should of also mentioned the absolute GUTS Tim showed.
Seriously, anyone else would of sat it out. His leg was taking a beating and now he tells us it was already injured. Wow! You could see him not quitting in his mind.... it was all over his body. He just kept trying and at one point late in the rounds he even lets off a spinning back kick!
If that's not guts I don't know what is.
I've seen you fight before Tim and that is why I knew something was up.
In Belmore about 2 years ago you gave this other guy an absolute war.
Pure heart. Maybe a re-match as I am sure the fight will be different with the usual you.
Keep your head up, that was a performance and a half!

Oh yeh, let's not forget Dimi....lol
Before the fight I had a chat to him.... don't know if it made a difference but hell, he came to fight for this one.
Well done little one!
I also enjoyed watching Tarek. Relentless with his grapple and knees and forward pushing.
Sandy Furner did exceptionally well against the tough Chica.
She looked like she was battle ready. Chiselled and also relentless. Very aggressive and she comes to fight, not play tip taps.
Have to give a shout out to our gal Leonie. At the begining of the fight we said to her...... No mucking around, no respect and do your business.
We yelled out to her to go for the kill and like a robot she obeyed! She knocked out her opponent in text book style punching display. Thoroughly impressed and she is one bad ass female fighter.
Well done missy!

Thanks VOICE and HUMBLE.
Voice, recovered well from the KO was just spewin I was thinking of my leg and didn't keep my hands up as it was in the last round with only 20sec to go.
Yes humble as you say, I did in the back of my mind contimplate possibly not coming out for the start of the 5th, didn't say anything to my corner, however my leg was very bad, and yes the knee injury wasn't doing me any favours. So I did continue, but prob shouldn't have as loosing by TKO vs loosing by KO would have been much prefered, however me being me I came to fight, and had to do whatever I could to finish the round.
I did enjoy the knew challenge but yes it is totally different from what I am use too.
My work rate should have been much higher, but as everyone has stated, I was FLAT?????OH well.
Once again Good on Charlie for capatalising on it....
Thanks for comments guys.
TIMBO will bounce back with evengence....

Thanx for the footage of the fight.... and great live commentary.<img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>
Would be good for Penrith Panthers to host this machine.Someone mentioned in another post that Foley was matched against Yodeccha
some time back. Now there is someone who is proven to defend your WMTA title against.

lol You couldn't pay those guys for that kind of commentary lol but it was well justified as it was that spectacular in person.
Yeh Spada, he was and he pulled out.
Brave guy from Rob Jnrs Gym took him on, albeit kickboxing rules and with Shin pads!
Yod kicked him through his glove and with the shin pads on, burst his eardrum and knocked him out.
I don't see Foley taking the challenge up, not anytime soon anyway.
