KICKBOXING LOST QUITE A FEW FANS TONIGHT AFTER THE DISSAPOINTMENT OF WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ONE OF THE BEST FIGHTS IN HISTORY. STAN THE MAN LONGINIDIS "LOST" TO GURKAN OZKAN AFTER DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING THROUGHOUT THE FIGHT APART FROM THE BEGGINING WHEN HE KNOCKED OZKAN DOWN.
IT WAS MORE THAN OBVIOUS THAT STAN WASNT INTERESTED IN THIS FIGHT, CAUSE AFTER HAVING SEEN ALL OF HIS FIGHTS I CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT THE MAN FIGHTING GURKAN TONIGHT JUST WASNT STAN! NO INTENSITY, NO COURAGE AND ABSOLUTELY NOT THIRSTY FOR THE VICTORY THAT WOULD HAVE ESTABLISHED HIM ON TOP OF THIS SPORT.
AN EMBARASSING ENDING SAW STAN GOING DOWN AFTER SOME "LETHAL" KICKS BY OZKAN, FORCING STAN'S CORNER TO THROW IN THE TOWEL. ISNT IT IRONIC HOW EVERYONE WAS DOUBTING GURKAN'S KICKS AND THEY WERE THE ONES THAT DROPPED THE MAN??
SIMPLY DISSAPOINTING FOR THE SPORT. I HAVE LOST RESPECT FOR STAN, GURKAN AND ESPECIALLY THE MAN WHO BOUGHT BOTH FIGHTERS, AND U KNOW WHO I'M TALKING ABOUT.

gurkan did beat stan fair and square, does anybody think there will be a REMATCH?i think stan underestimated gurkan if there is a next time stan would take it more seriously and with the proper training i think could still beat gurkan.

Insider - reputations like Stan cant be bought - if Stan has agreed to any rigging - then he deserved the beating he copped - I honestly believe he went in too cocky and underprepared, Ozkan was simply too strong, too clever (we were all expecting the opposite)
It more the case of Stan being 'shell shocked" by the speed, and power Ozkan had, it caught Stan off guard, Stan knew he was in deep ****, and simply covered up - similar to the way Behic was when he first fought Zambidis - dont know if you have ever fought Insider - but copping a punch and kick from someone at this level, especially when you have not fought for 2 + years and are not conditioned to take the shots, it really stuffs your thought process, you simply shut down and either cover up, hold on, or grab the ropes ala 'Fadi' style.
I am a massive Stan fan - having trained at Fitzroy Stars back in the days with Dana and Stan when he was at his prime - face facts, Stan was slaughtered - end of story - if you want to throw a 'rigged'element so it makes it easier for you to accept then you have every right to do so

Come on guys. I am a Stan fan but he lost fare and square. Ozkan picked him apart and Stan was the one looking for the one big hit.
There is no dought that Stan was no where near his former self but for a fight like this there are no excuses.
I WILL NOW AGREE THAT GURKAN OZKAN IS ONE OF THE BEST KICKBOXERS IN AUSTRALIA, HE PROVED THAT LAST NIGHT.
There is no way the fight was rigged
