Press Conf hype

Just reviewed the Tarik site - dont know what to make of all the 'hype' **** that went on - Gurkan even slipped in this bull**** that he had 'dropped' Stan with a bodyshot while sparring way back in the days - dont know why he would make a statement like that - its complete bull**** and it certainly pissed of Stan to no end!

Anyway if anyone went to the conference - it would be interesting to hear if it had a 'staged' element - like the last Tarik promo - when Stan and Gurkan were thrown in the ring - seperated by a couple of Tariks hit men - it was the most contrived load of **** I have seen this side of a fake porn queen ripping out a 1hr long orgasm!!

Hey Paul - man how about this. I've returned back to school this week and logged in here to check the goss during a tute - low and behold I could of made the conference @ Crown.. but only realised at the later time!

So no - I didn't go and a bit pissed with myself I didn't check either Sportzblitz or Tarik's site in the past coupla days!

I wish i was there, but after a few hard nights i couldn't get up and just slept. Paul did u see it on channel 10 news? THey showed it for a minute or so.

I don't think I get channel 10 news from Melbourne but think it's Sydney's instead (I'm on the boder here).

I checked channels 7 and 9 and also watched Fox sports news but none of them had anything on about it.

Yeah it is my final year. But the hard nights were me out drinking not studying. I start in a couple of weeks.

They showed Gurkan and Stan posing for the camera's. Tarik was sitting between them. Gurkan was saying that he has never been knocked out and he didn't know what it felt like but that Stan had been put to sleep a few times and that he would bring a pillow for him.
Stan said the same thing as K-1 max in that he respected Gurkan but that he was basically stupid for fighting him and that he hasn't fought a middleweight before cause nobody has been as stupid as Gurkan to want to fight him. That's all they showed.

It was pretty funny usual hype stuff.
