Tonight Fox Sports 3... something different!

Hey guys

Fox Sports 3 @ 8.30 tonight... for the first time ever on Australian Television... join myself and the Hammer as we bring you the 2006 National All Styles Australian Martial Arts Championships from the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.

It's martial arts point-scoring action (light contact)... males and female... plus heaps of demo's from Taekwondo, Ishin ryu, Fudoshin ryu, Aikido and more.

This is the style of fighting that the likes of Elvis Sinosic and The Hammer began their careers fighting in (Hammer was Victorian black belt champion, Elvis was an Australian black belt champion)... and yes, even I competed in it once in the Novice Section! haha -- hey, I placed runner up!! (thanks to Hammer's skilled coaching!)

I gotta call my Mum to record it...can't wait to hear the comments coming from you two (Hammer esp) as TKD guys go aleapin' with their spinning schling kicks and fingertip strikes to the top of the head searching for that killer point.

Watch for one of the demo's where the guy does the "rip your nuts off" technique... very entertaining!

Did anyone see the very unorthodox, slow motion, spinning carwheel type kick girl??? Poor thing got punched in the eye by her very patient opponent when she finally surfaced for air. I couldn't work out if I was watching some way dodgy break dancing or caporeira by a young lady in a Karate Gee. I wish I taped her fight. Nah I can't make it John, broke at the moment. At least I've got a boxing show i'm going to tonight that I paid for mths ago. That and a very busy weekend with shows next week.
