Hi All

Just after some feedback on last nights "Revenge or Repeat" Evolution 9 show on Foxsports.

What I would like to know (info to pass onto foxsports)was if you watched the event how many people in your household also watched, eg family & friends etc.

Appreciate any feedback.

Thanks

Was an awesome show. I took a few friends down to the local cause don't have pay tv at home.

Was good to see female fights too

Watched Parr vs Preacher 2 last nite n 'John' Wayne Parr is something special. He is out of this world. He was superb last nite everything he threw landed n he just methodically demoralised the Preacher. But take nothing from the Preacher tough as nails. But defitinely not on the same scale as Parr. Parr just has this oura about him that makes my hairs stand up on my neck. Im a young fighter n hope one day im even half as good as 'John' Wayne Parr. N i hope people chant my name when im fighting.
Dont think Bruce will forget 'John' Waynes last name is Parr again.
The whole fight card was awesome every fight was evenly matched. Another top notch show from the Evo series

I had a big party, with about 244 people watching it on my small 34cm tv. Hehe only kidding.

I went to a friends place and there were 6 of us watching it there.

'Every fight was evenly matched' ????

Were you watching the same EVO I was watching ????

2 in our house watched it on Fox and 3 us flew up and watched it live a couple of weeks ago.

I have attended a few EVO's and this one (apart from the main event) was pretty darn ordinary. I have held back my opinions on this event but I can honestly say the card was very average. Parr vs Preacher II is what I flew up to see and that fight in itself was worth its weight in gold. I would have on regrets again in paying the Ringside Ticket price just to watch Parr weave his magic. However, I wouldn't want to torture myself with a combination of amateur boxing, miss matched fights, memorabilia auctions and rap dancers for 3hrs before getting to the Main Event.

Looking forward to Xplosion........

I thought the break dancers were fantastic!

The physical things those guys were doing was unbelievable!

Great core body strengh and balance, as an athlete you have to appreciate their moves and deadication to what they do.

Just my thoughts...

Great main event what can I say. Thai's were a bit average. Anyway I had all the boys from the gym over about 10 people.

I went over to my local and watched it on 4 flatscreen tv's, I don't have foxtel or 4 flatscreen tv's. There were some guys in the corner making fun of the "tennis rackets" and flowers they were wearing but after they watched the fights, i doubt they'd make fun of them in person.

I was disapointed with the thai fighters. Eli and Franki was awesome!!!!!! Main event was great too.

feedback for the evo guys... I wanna see more of Eli. That was awesome. Line him up against pixie, soren, shaggy, preacher. don't care who, just a quality opponent and I will be happy.

The Thai girl was a total miss match, how much lighter was she, didn't need to see that, Soren's opponent was lighter too, Eli's fight was good, and so was the main bout, Preacher looked hesitent and holding back a bit let John tee off too many times, Oh would like to see the grapple go a bit longer in all fights seeing it is MuayThai not K-1. just my thoughts.......

there have definitely been better Evos' before but the Eli fight and main event were both what we expected! I don't however think that Preacher was on song.

Can anyone tell me who Eli's 3 losses have been to and when they were in his career? He looks so well put together that I can only imagine they were early on.

I was also there on the night,and overall it was a good spectacle.

some thoughts for EVO for 2007

* An 8 man tourny ( any weight ) maybe even the lighter guys???63-68 kgs

* Bring down a couple of decent European fighters at 70 - 75 kgs.We have only ever had one ( that I can remember ) Stephan Nikiema,and he did the job on Paul Briggs.
There are plenty of guys in Holland to take on the Preacher and Soren
at 70 kgs.Time to take on Europes best ???

* Australia vs New Zealand
New Zealand have 3 quality fighters Chopper,Jordan Tai & Prince Hammid.Match these guys against our best.

* Eli " Mad Dog " Manigan
Would like to see more of this guy on the EVO series.
He is a definate threat to the bigger names in his division.

* A Heavyweight fight FTR ??????

************************************************** ***************

Keep up the great shows guys !!!!!!!!!

cheers Spada

Ron here......One word Hammer "Champagne"

2 ppl at my place, but we also went and watched it live.

How bout some kids doing demo's?? They are the future of the sport

How bout some giveaways?? Evo Shirts? Old Evo Dvds?? Free training session at a gym??

I really like it when the cameras went back stage and we saw the fighters warming up, but how bout some interviews??

The commentary was a classic!! Shiv keeps the sayings coming each time we watch a show and to have angie and carnage on also was good

Im Ron Burgandy, go f*@k yourself San Diego

I was watching and enjoying it with my housemate until I got sick of her asking what the 'big kabosh' was. I told her to shut up or i'll show her what it means. She then kicked me in the balls <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>
