After reading the Best Ko's topic, I began to think about some of the best fights and other great moments in Ozzie Kickboxing. (just cant resist a trip down memory lane!)
Here are some of the moments that came to mind:
Tony Hills epic battle with a Thai opponent in one of Australias first Oz V Thai shows ever. Also featured Paul Briggs, Brad Carter and 'Nugget'.
The lights going out when John Halford and Louie 'Ice' Iosifides were doing battle.
Stan V Alexio! What pre fight build up to be smashed by one awesome kick!
Stan Vs Maurice Smith in Sydney. That was cool.
The pre fight comotion that went on before the Shafipour v Dawson Title fight. That was awesome how they built the crowed up into a frenzy. The fight didn't disapoint either.
Im still suffering sideaffects from that laser show at the Jacos v Ozcan fight. Did Tazza Solak slip in some subliminal messages there? It would explain the rapid growth of his shows!
Anyway, will probably think of more later.
