Hey Michael,

Have you got a minute ?

I'd like to ask you the decision behind supporting this event with a P.P.V.

From the feedback on this forum, and considering the cheap price of the P.P.V event - do you think it may be detrimental to the fanbase buying door tickets for this show ?

I'm asking this as I remember when P.P.V wasn't a thing of your / Tarik's promotions and us fans 'had' to go to watch it live - or wait several weeks for Fox to air it.

Now we can watch it live @ home - plus able to record it on tape to rewatch, do you think this move may be cutting away from the 'bricks + water' (like an eCommerce business move?)

Not attempting to bag this decision as it appears to appeal to a high percentage.. it is just something I perceive and it'd be great to hear your reply,

Hamish

I guess there must be enough pre door sales to compensate a PPV
..I reckon it is a great idea it can only lift the sport....

PPV cash is probably more significant than cash from the gate. In other words, totally worth the risk. The only danger is a small gate affecting the atmosphere.

I like the idea and is a real step forward for Kickboxing in this country, look at Overseas Boxing and K-1 they rely heavily on PPV which indicates this where the big money lies(Combining with your gate and Sponsors and its seems like a win-win situation). Your really opening up and widening your audience with PPV, its ideal for country and interstate vieweres who otherwise wouldn't be able to attend the event live and this is the next best alternative.

In boxing they often do a blackout in that state. It is possible to put it on PPV but ban PPV sales within 100km of melbourne. That way the crowd wouldn't be affected greatly. But i'm sure they know what they are doing.
