If I was commenting on who would win the beauty contest I would have to say Angie by KO!! ... But I dont think many of you are giving Steph much credit , she is tough and very experienced for her age !
I would say ...
Angie by Pts ... but only just , but she will have to work bloody hard to get it .Steph is going to be extremely fired up and ready for this one .
It is going to be one hell of a fight !
Good luck to them both
And please girls , gloves up ... protect the face , protect the face!!
Strong in mind ...strong in body!!

Gonna be good to watch Sacha mix it up. Met him a few years ago on the Gold Coast, very friendly guy.
It aint about how hard you can hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward!
Howell looks like a body builer off season any one know who he is how many fights and what styles he trains and also for Nanchouki? Both are unknown to me but obviously are good or they wouldnt be on the poster or the card.
ANy one shed any light my way???

Yes, two weeks before the fight against Shahan Beaver; Stephynee sustained a knee injury in sparring with Jarrett Lewis and was incapable of efficiently lifting her leg to kick and check. It was not the best-of-the-best of Stephynee Bouquet but she was still the victor....
This time its near-perfect and we can't wait to show you the proof

Russ, its one thing to be a big supporter of your mates/team. But seriously how do you clean the Parr's s*#t from your tongue.
Good to see passionate support though. Your like Queenslands answer to AllanF!!!
Im gonna sit on the fence in support but my pick is prob a tight points win for Angela Parr.
It takes a BIG man to cry, it takes a BIGGER man to laugh at that man!!!
Im picking Angie by close points win too but it could go wither way if Stephs hands are powerful Angie could rattle but I doubt it.
Good luck to both girls and LUKE PIKLUM on the night too

Tastes like chocolate and smells like roses, I cant see the problem.
Well jt, its like this. Its 100% support, all the time, every time. No bandwagon jumping, no fence sitting.
Thats my team, thats who i support. I dont follow footy, cricket or anything else.
Its like a Collinwood supporter, or Penrith Panthers. They dont support any other team.
Nor do I.

Well done Steph. Thought Angie done enough to win, but not crying foul. This was one of those fights that really could have gone either way. Both girls fought an awsome fight, and Steph stepped up and took it to Angie and came away with the goodies. Top fight by both girls
Russ
http://landscapes.net.au/JWP/shirts.htm
It was my first time to a king of the cage fight night and it will be my last. It was the worst show I have ever been to, kickboxers vs Grapplers every fight ended in a submission within less than a minute into the first round. The every fight was a mis match except for the last fight. Good to see a female thai boxing fight as a main event and it was the only decent fight of the night. I hate to say this but both girls are overated, Steph was sloppy even though she won the fight, Angie kept her technique clean but even still was nothing special.
BASE enters with a BANG
Good to see some honest opinions
Yes I too think both are over rated but the female division is limited so out of whats there they are the two best like it or not.
Also kickboxers vs grapplers is always gonna end in quick subs until the kickboxers get some specific wrestling trianing to counter takedowns which takes time to master.
Truth is there arent hundreds of MMA fighters in our whole country so these kickboxers are stepping up but get put in their place very quickly. UNtil it grows KOTC will always have trouble gettin a very full MMA card but looking forward to the day when they can!

On behalf of all of us a Jabout we would like to thank John Pedro and Tony Bonello for having us on the show. Its such a different world to striking but it was a good experience for the boys.
GoGo is there hundreds of BJJ fighters in Sydney? if so they should start fighting in these events?? i think they would have put up a better fight than strikers.
Yes Jason there is hundreds of BJJ guys in sydney but they do BJJ cos they dont like being punched in the head!! The average BJJ guys arent allowed by their trainers to compete MMA until they have done at least a year or more BJJ so that also eliminates a lot of fighters.
BJJ as an art or competition is still miles away from NO RULES about the same distance as kickboxing is away from NO RULES!
Good on you for puttin the boys into the fights and gettin experience I look forward to seeing Scerri back in the muay thai ring next year where he belongs I believe he will go a long way to gettin into k1 max eventually. Is there no K1 max oceania anymore?? Shame?? Can a promoter buy the rights to it cough cough Jabout...

In fact Id love to see Scerri vs Foley at 70k I dont think it would be one sided to Greg thus the ability Jason has.
Just a thought for 2007

Base ansd GoGo,
Who the fark are you to call these two girls overated
they are both world ranked fighters who train there asses of.
Base you make yourself look like an idiot when you say this was the only decent fight of the night then you call them overated?
Angie parr is a super star mate and her record speaks for itself.
Not only that, she is a great promoter of herself and this sport.
I watched her at evo9 mixing with the crowd talking to everyone
She is a special person and super fighter
Dont farkin disrespect her buy calling her overated mate.
And GoGo when are you gonna stop talking up mma on here and take a fight against a good thai stylist.
If it wasnt for the parrs and all the other thai and kickboxers fighting on these shows no one would go and watch its the only way they can get a crowd!
Who wants to watch two guys have sex on the ground until someone submits
Ash
It was the only decent fight you idiot!! And they are both overated, it was an honest opion, I did not disrespect either in areas of their training and there contribution to the sport, takes alot of guts to step in there. But to have both of these girls talked up as how great they are that was a bloody alwful fight.
Flash,
Seriously mate I forgot I wasn't allowed an opinion without lettin you proof read my messages, blow me!
As for thai stylists Ill fight one in MMA rules bring it on Im sick of these purists I cant remember the Muay thai fighter that won MMA be it UFC, Pride or King Of the Cage thats why I talk it up it is the future and I love kickboxing and thai boxing and will compete this coming year against all ppl at my experience level I will duck and dodge noone from now on just to keep the almighty flash happy!!!
However I will not change my opinions for him/her I dont think that main event last night was two world class performances m,aybe they are world class but what was shown last night was not Buakaw vs Mr Parr now that'd be world class or Zambidis vs Parr that ws world class sorry my opinion on last night only not a blanket opinion of Steph or Angie

considering A Parr is a multi world champion, she did not actually look like the experienced champ stated by followers and fans in this bout.
Angie
01-02-2007, 08:01 PM
I am not a multi World Champ and never claimed to be. I have only won one world championship and it was in Thailand for the am games. I admit that fight I fought like ****. I watched both my last two fights in the cage and that one I looked terrible. I will never have a fight like that again.
Whether win or lose, people fight the best on they can on the night... people are quick to criticise but forget all the hard work fighters put in for a fight, hours of physical training, not to mention the mental prep that goes into it aswell - .... How about giving these girls a thumbs up for a tough fight.... they dont really need people putting them down for whats already a win in most peoples eyes and thats getting in the ring in the first place......
