2 things I dont understand !

1) For starters it appears Baris is not fighting Feb 17th. Is this due to politics / injury .. ? I've read plenty of talk about the 'new' opponent for Zam - but not the reason WHY he is not on the card anyone knows ?

2) Also the second thing I dont understand for a promoter's sake.. why isn't there a legally binding contract for these fighters to partake in their profession. Or is there which we aren't aware ? Or just for the Main Event ?

I know the boxing world has lots of red - tape / dotted lines to ASSURE a pugilist will fight against say MR X on a certain day.. but it doesn't appear to be enacted in kickboxing.

This then assures the hard paying fan (such as us guys) - we will get what we expect on the night and not look at an event as a 'wait for it on fox' type.

Also consindering the promotional effort this fight has consumed.. it'd be a shame to have this predicament which I can admit has really lowered the morale on this bulletin board.

Yes I'll probably still go with a small group - but it'd be nice to see a JWP vs ZAM.. or BEHIC vs ZAM on the Semi - Main Event.

Tarik is probably saving the JWP vs Zam for a Qld show. I guess a fight like that can easily get main event status. I guess the promotion team is thinking the main event sells seats, not undercards. Which is probably right as the majority of the audience won't be die hard fans like us. I would be nice though to see somebody we know who is world class fight Zam.
