i am going on holidays to melbourne (city) and was wondering if anybody can tell me a good gym to train at and mybe do some sparring.

Go to Underworld, you will love it. I havent been there in a couple of years but it is a great place. You will find it in the city in Bananna Alley (Part of Flinders St)
