Is this guy absolutely top notch in K-1, ala JWP, Choppa, Zambidis and the way Dawson was prior to focusing on boxing, or slightly one cut below?
cheers

He is a very talented fighter in my books and also great entertainment for fight fans ....and the 2 go hand in hand when promoting a fighter , he has a lot of style, attitude, charisma, personality and talent but I just don't think "The Preacher" is up there with JWP, Zambidis , Dawson and Chopper ....he is the next best thing to those guys and that is no bad reflection on Bruce , those guys are world class and fighting the BEST in the world ,so he should be very proud of his acheivements , but I think honestly that we would ALL be very suprised if Bruce beat any of the guys mentioned above ,and as I said before that is a huge compliment that we mention hime in the same breath as those guys ......but hey who knows , stranger things HAVE happened !
Good luck with the future Bruce !!!

didn't he fight a year or two ago on an xplosion show under k1 rules vs i think a ?korean? fighter??? I know he had a fight that was MEANT to be K1 rules but then KO'ed his opponent with what should have been an illegal shot under the limited grapple rules... or am i remembering something that never happened???

He fought Baris Nezif under K-1 rules at Southbank's Suncorp Piazza a couple of years ago on the undercard of Gurkan Ozkan vs Scott Bannan.

hell, he's improved since '05. Everytime i watch him he seems to get faster, have more combos, and more confidence. For a man thats had over 100 fights, you'd excuse him for sitting on his laurels. But no, Bruce seems always to have new tricks. Hes up there as one of my favorite fighters. (not the top one though<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>)

The answer is no and none of the fighters you mentioned are top notch K1 fighters anyway.
