A1 MELBOURNE

Hi guys!

Just wondering if the A1 final is in Melbourne around the start of December.

I think it would be great to have the Parr vs Zambidis superfight as the main event or second main event aswell. Now with out talking about Solak rigging events and his split-up with Zambidis and Greeks vs Turks and all the Gurkan bagging, what do people think?

I for one would think it would be fitting for this fight to happend at the 'A1 FINAL' as a superfight, regardless of race both are great fighters and without worrying about the judging it would be great to see these two go head to head once again.

I WOULD also like to see Gurkan (if he does not reach the final) have a fairwell fight in Melbounre on this night. No matter how much the majority of people on this board dislike him you can not deny he has been a great warrior (like anyone else who gets in the ring) and is an extremly entertaining fighter. Lets be honest everyone has an opinion on him ...alot love him alot love to hate him but everyone should respect him as he still gets in the ring and continues to put on a show. I think a fight against Tsakonas or even Snip would be a great way to come to a close to his carrer in Melbourne Win, lose or draw.

What do you think and who do you think the top 8 fighters should/will consist of?

Gurkan having a farewell fight in melbourne would be a good idea because he is a good fighter and legend of the sport..that's something you can't take away from him. Hope he doesn't meet Farid for his farewell fight though because that wouldn't be pretty for Ozkan and he would most definitly go into retirement after that fight whether he wants to or not.

The final 8 should be great! and with another start studed fight thrown in as a superfight in would defently pull a huge crowd.

I could also see that happening zdk, but i belive hosting the A1 final in Melbourne is a pride thing to Tarik. A way to showboat his creation and show people that he has succeded.

there is no final 8 as such. they are single fights right down to final. the 2nd round is oct 22 the following week final 8 following week final 4 so on til final 2. the rest of the card will be made up of superfights. final possibly in dubai. certainly will not be oz guys

I dont think Tarik deserves the Parr vs Zambo rematch, too much bullsh|t with his shows - dodgy decisions,too many judges etc. Bring it to the GoldCoast, and let Ray do it right. Pref under full thai rules :P
