Yes indeedy looks like another cracker of show!
The TS2 Densiam rematch is gonna be a fight not too miss. This is a true test of Aaron ability to take the world title with the thai currently ranked in the top 5 at rajadamnern in what is one of the hottest weight divisions in Thailand!
Blake Soss continues to step up against Chris Barrett. He recently knocked out The White Sniper in Sydney and is wanting to continue his unblemished record! However Chris is hungry for that Australian title and its the next step to bigger and better things for him! Should be a cracker!
As always the undercard is shaping up really well! Anyone who has been to a war on the shore will agree that the quality of the undercard is second to none and the up and coming fighters can outshine the big names!
Looking forward to seeing a few of you there!

Clinton trains at Hammer Muay Thai.. I think his record is about 6 or 7 fights with no losses yet.. Fought Mark Boman on the last War on the Shore. Good technique strong boy progressing quite well through the ranks.
Jim I dont know too much about. He trains at 5 Rings so I am sure he will be well skilled. Mr C told me on Friday night but had a few other things on my mind at the time...
Brodie Smith and Matt Jackson should be a good fight. Matts a very aggressive walk up fighter and Brodie is a great counter fighter who works well on angles.. So should make for great viewing..

Sorry Peter.. My mistake..
Good luck to the new combined venture.. Things must really be growing up your way now.
I knew Clinton was unbeaten just wasnt sure of the number.
Tidy little fighter, him and Benny Council should be a good match up.

Awesome line-up! Great top league fighters like TS2 and Chris Barrett and all the best up and comers as well! Any chance we can see Michael Thompson again? He put on an awesome performance at the last War on The Shore..

My picks!
Aaron over Densiam points - for vengeance and the chance at a WMC world title

Chris over Blake for the Aus title via KO rd. 2 or pts. - Chris too tough; too hard; too fit; too experienced - but with Blake's recent KO of Chris Johnson he sure has the goods to be in there with a fighter of Chris's calibre.

Clinton Cork for the Qld title over Ben via pts. Havent seen much of Clinton but with Matrix new venture with Jamie Toslin he has both trainers combining their skills to give him a good advantage

Always good to see shadow fight excellent technique

Evan Morris via knee KO over Wayne Martin in the 3rd. Evan's knees very powerful but wayne will be putting the pressure on

Brodie Smith to beat matt jackson - coming off an unlucky decn in Melbourne Brod will be keen to prove his worth wth his home crowd cheering him on.

and judd over ben - judd has been trining hard after his last fight fell through, he is keen and ready to step back into the ring

and great to see frank georgi on the show - havent seen him fight for a while (his elbow KO over ben radley??)

cant wait
only 3 wks to go

Go hard TS2. Man i just checked the Thailand rankings and im not sure when they were last updated but when you got guys like Anuwat Kaewsammrit at No.6 and Atachai Fairtex at 10 you know you have to be the real deal when it comes to being champ at this weight.

Who is the WMC World Champ at this weight?

It's better to have a gun and not need it than to need a gun and not have.

Well guys heres the poster.
Another top notch effort I am sure you agree.
The Oliver Warren Frank Georgi promises to be a spectacle. 2 of the new young guns coming through the pro ranks and a classic WA vs QLD battle!
Blake Soss has proven he has earnt his shot at the Aussie Title with another KO in Sydney this time against Lachlan Stewart!
Tickets are selling well so you best all get on your bikes and sort them out! Call the Southport RSL box Office on 55 312889. And I think there may have been a corporate table open up so if your keen jump on the blower to Mark on 0412 189024.
So anyone care to make a few predictions?

And thanks for the coments about the design of the flyer were very happy with it.
And i have not forgotten you either i will when i get some time send you that DVD of Aaron TS2's fights ..

So its under 2 weeks away and all is shaping up well.. So who's coming along?
Booked a flight across the ditch Hit Sizzle??
Lets start throwing down some predictions.
I think Aarons fight could go either way.. If Aaron shows the composure he did in Hong Kong he will win this fight!!
Blake and Chris.. Well gonna always go for my boy Chris.. But Blake is a strong boy and has racked up some tidy wins so it wonat all be one way traffic!
Frank and Oliver.. Dont know alot about Oliver. Heard of him fighting on a few MWP shows but thats it.. Think I'll stick with the Gold Coast boy this time..
Ben and Clinton will be a good fight. Saw Ben fight in February and was quite impressed. Lost a close fight To Jason Marsh. Think that he will edge the win over Clinton but You cant underestimate the underdog.
Gonna stick with my man Shadow!
And I have to back the SFG boys in the other three fights.
I believe Mr C is still confirming a few more undercard fights which should round a great nights entertainment!

Man i would love to take some time off and just travel Aussie going to all the shows, but University isn't cheap and is taking up alot of time. Maybe i'll do it in about 3 years when my course finishes.

Good luck to all fighters.

Heard we have a couple of awesome new match-ups to add to the already impressive line-up. One still to be confirmed but the other will be Thor Hoopman from Boonchu gym trained by Wayne Parr versus a fighter from Spains gym at 86kgs. Those who were at the last War on the Shore would have seen Thor's impressive KO over his opponent - he has agression technique and speed you would usually attribute to a much smaller fighter.

Also wondering where the Gold Coast weigh-in will be..

mark pease
24-10-2006, 01:56 PM
Hey Sicarii

The other boys name is Darren Hobbs from Spains gym, this is also a fight for the big hitters as both are stromg punchers.

The weigh in will be at the new Vas Shop on the Gold Coast hwy Mermaid Beach(left hand side heading south about 1 kilometer passed the Casino) directly oppisite Midas Mufflers time will be 6pm friday nite.

Cheers Mark Pease

flash
24-10-2006, 02:26 PM
Thor will be to skillfull for Darren and should take the win,
But Darren can take a punch, anybody that saw him come back from doing the chicken dance against one of phil's boys in Toowoomba will tell you he is as tough as they come,He is also very tall so he will have a height advantage i think (not sure how tall Thor is)
But having said that i think Thor win this fight.

Ts 2 has trained very well for this as we know this boy will come to fight, and i have got Meow our Thai trainer over to help him with his grapple cause this gym is very prolific at grapple and knees and Meow is familar with Densiam so we are hoping it goes our way this time.

Peace Gem WAS from Melbourne. he now lives up here an trains at 5 rings.
As its a Queensland title (and technically not a WMC title as its the OMTF) it doesn't have to be with elbows.
But it should be a good fight nontheless.
All the boys weighed in at the Vas store tonight with everyone coming in under or smack on the button!
Everyone looked primed and ready to rock so its gonna be action a plenty tomorrow!!

First of all on behalf of Mark and Mr C, congratulations to all the fighters and trainers involved in Saturdays show.
Thanks for all the sponsors including Payday Central, VAS, Fight World, Troy Designs, Unit, DA Manufacturing and Central Access Hire. Their continued support is most appreciated.
Well it was another great night of fights with some great displays of thaiboxing at its best. Thor and Darrens fight was action aplenty with the big boys holding nothing back.
Evan Morris was his usual self with a silken smooth display of knee fighting.
Ben Council and Clinton cork battled out 5 tough rounds and the end of I thought it could have gone either way with Ben getting the nod.
Brodie Smith had an early night putting Matt Jackson down quick smart.
What can I say about Blake Soss.. Put on a great display! Fast quick smooth.. Threw elbows from all angles in the grapple and out worked Chris for the WMC Supermiddleweight title.
And TS2.. Was in fine touch against Densiam until he hurt his arm in the fourth. Was a great technical fight till then but Degsiam came home strong to get the win and keep his title. But Aaron showed just how much heart the little bloke has to fight on for 2 rounds with a broken wrist.
So all in all it was great night. Make sure you catch it on Fox Sports November 21!
And looking forward to War on the Shore 7 coming at you early next year!
Hopefully I will some of the photos up on the Strikeforce Website in the next couple of days!
Cheers
