Last night we held a fundraiser event for our 4yo nephew Kye,who, 4 months ago was diagnosed with Leukemia. Host of the night was Eric Summons (better known as Boris'breakfast club) who did a great job of keeping the large crowd entertained all night with his endless jokes and comical wit. The night was topped off with numerous lucky door prizes and a huge sporting auction which included a QLD 1995 state of origin jersey fully signed, Bris. Lions jersey fully signed, Bris. Broncos jersey fully signed, Hand drawn posters of Ali and Kostya, a pair of framed and signed speedos from Grant Hackett [these thing were HUGE] and heaps more. But one of the most well received and talked about items of the night were a pair of gloves donated by Richie & Ian from Sportys Warehouse which i had personally signed by JWP including his list of titles which were presented to Kye on stage. So in closing i would like say thank-you Wayne {Kye wants to come down the gym for some pics if its O.K} Aron & Mitch from the VAS shop, Peter & Norm from fight world, and every-one else who contributed to the night. Close to $30,000 was raised for this boy and his parents. WELL DONE !!!!

Isn't that lovely, It's so good to see people getting behind a sick child like that, congratulations alchrist and good luck with the little fella too.

Hey Sandy, thnx for your kind words of support and generosity. Any donations no matter how big or small can be made to the Leukemia foundation to help out the many other families in need. Need more people like you Sandy your heart is in the right place. How is your gym running now? Next time we are over will call in and say hi.

Yes, I will be sure to put in a contribution to the Lukemia Foundation, Its a great cause.
The gym is just about finished, we should have all of our things in place in another few days, then we will re-open within a week or so. The kids are so happy and very excited, they have been itching for this gym to happen for so long now, it's just wonderful for them to feel a part of something. That would be great if you came over, we would love to have you, your welcome any time. Hey, bring the little fella over too, there are heaps of kids here at the gym so he would have many people to play with.

Too easy mate and glade I could help, even if it was only a small thing. If you want to bring him down thats no worries either, just tell him if he wants to spar to bring his mouth piece, shin pads and gloves.
