Hi all,
Sorry for the late notice (just arrived back from 2 weeks in Perth) but I am here to share good news with you all. Here are the details:
WHO: Stan "The Man" Longinidis - 8 time world kickboxing champion
WHERE: The "GREEK CLUB" Edmonstone St, West End. Opposite Musgrave Park. Parking is available at southbank tafe, musgrave park, or Brisbane State High School.
WHEN: Sunday 13th August 2006 @ 6pm
COST: FREE - come early so to not miss a seat
WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT: Well let me start with me. I'm on holidays, so I said to the wife that I will go with her and the kids to church on Sunday morning - I go about once a month with the family!
The church doesn't have a home since 2 years ago some bloke set off 7 fires in it (it was in the Valley next to Jim Cass's gym). So they moved to the Brisbane Convention Centre ballroom, but the church has since then in 2 years, grown to over 3 000 people!!!!
So because I was going to go to church and it moves between a few different venues - I checked the net and found that Stan spoke at a breakfast this morning (Sat 12/8) and will speak tomorrow night also!!
So I now find myself going to church twice in one day - in the morning with family and at night with my mates to hear Stan.

Don't be scared if it's a church - and the roof won't cave in I guess because it's at the Greek Club and Stan's speaking!!!! hehe
