so.. little over two weeks now and am so looking forward to this fight! What I hear so far it should be a sell out show, which is great for the gang at Rising! I know everyone is looking forward to the main event (GO CARNAGE) but what a great card!! So i guess its only tradition to see what the rest of you guys thisnk and ask the question "Carnage or McKinnon".. You already know where my vote lies...

P.S To anyone who knows.. the seating plan will be elevated right? Like in December??

My pic is carnage. no disrespect to mckinnon but i think carnages elbows will be to good. i hope he lets them fly!!!!!!

Max Power, he's the man who's name you'd love to touch. But you mustn't touch! His name sounds good in your ear, but when you say it you mustn't fear! Cause his name can be said by anyone

Wow I cant wait.I wish I could see it live. I think Carnage has powerful combinations but Mckinnon has more powerful punches and kicks with less combinations. They both have very impressive records. If it wasnt for Slowinski both records would be even better!

I draw your attention to this thread http://www.sportzblitz.net/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6788

I know its no substitute for actually being there live, but the next best thing

Hope steve does,nt get to much damage or any Cuts as he is fighting 4wks later here in Nz on the K-1,
Hope Carnage is having an off night in the Elbow department. Would be sad to see Steve out of K-1 due to being cut-up.

What sort of comment is that? You hope Carnage goes easy on him so you kiwis get a good show? Nice one.

It was such a pity that the fight didn't occur previously as both fighters looked in top condition. I don't know if Steve has had the same preparation or is as focused this time out.
I believe a comfortable win for Carnage, 3rd round KO.

BEAUTIFUL!!! Then I guess we're in for a cracker!!

You are my advesary but U are not my enemy. For ur resistance gives me strength, ur will gives me courage, ur spirit enobles me.And though I aim to defeat U,should I succeed I will not humiliate U.Instead I will honour U,for without U I am a lesser man.

Carnage is a QLD licenced Tattoist, I hope Steve is ready for a money box.

I agree with VOICE that both fighers were in great nic for the previous fight, but I do think that given the circumstances both fighters have had more time to train and be more hungry for a win than ever, the anticipation and hype for this fight must be massive for both fighters.

We have all heard that Steve's kicks are powerful, but lets face it, Nathans elbows are like razor blades, So in reply to the HIGHLANDERS comment, with all do respect Steve will get cut!!

A 3rd round K.O is what Im betting on aswell, as I would hate to see a early knock out to a long awaited match.... would be a shame.....

HIGHLANDER... again, in respect, steve is a fool (and, no offenvce there either..) If he accepted another fight so soon after his match with Corbett, I mean really what did he expect? To walk away from that ring without any stitches? So either way, dont be surprised if the fight gets calleded off because he is still in a coma.. Ha ha... KIDING GUYS!!!

All in all it will be a great match as both fihters are amazing, but as always I will quote the retorical question... "a kick is a kick, a punch is a punch, but an elbow executed from such a master like Corbett cant possibly be any match for a ***** slap?"

I think most of you on here did'nt understand my post.

I did'nt say Steve was gonna get Cut, Nor did i say Steve Wasn't gonna get Cut.
I said i hope Steve Doesn't get Cut, Which is allways a very good chance of happening with Elbows.

Nor did i say i hope Carnage goes easy on Steve, Steve is an Awesome Fighter & no Fighter can go Easy on him otherwise they will go down.

All i was saying is i hope Steve comes out okay to be able to fight here in New Zealand 4wks later.

4 weeks is plenty of time to heal after being cut. I have fought a week after getting stitches in training accidently, I even split my shin with Preacher and fought Yodsanklai three weeks later and it stayed together (plus chicks digs scars ).
Angie and I are flying down and sitting on Ray Shlutz table with Paul Briggs. So excited as this will be a great fight and a huge under card.

I think that all of these Carnage supporters may experience a little disapointment.

Carnage may have his elbows but I dont think he has faced anyone with Steve's power or aggression. The closest fighter Carnage has faced to my knowledge is Alex Roberts who Ko'd Carnage with a right high kick.

As for the elbows, Carnage may be better known for his elbows but that doesnt mean that Steve can't use them or that they are bad. I wouldnt be suprised if Steve cuts Carnage.

JAY 1... Did you see the fight? It was a "lucky" shot, Carnage was winning by points, and the guy was 10 or more kilos heavier then Corbett. In all fairness he was a much bigger aponnent than Nathan and shouldnt have been matched up with anyway.

I will admit this fight will be a challenge for Corbett, and McKinnon aswell as they are both good fighters and each specilists in different areas, Nathan..elbows, Steve.. kicks.

And I dont care what anyone says, no one can utilise elbows like Carnage.. which is why he has been dubbed the "man with the golden elbows"..

.. I guess it all comes down to the fight night, and what will happen then. Either way it will be a great fight. But my money still stays on Corbett

Everyone talks about his awsome elbow carnage, but I think you will be suprised at the amount of fighters he has stopped with body rips.
