Baris Nezif?
Who were his best wins and fights against?
Zambidis 12 rds KB bout was a goodie. Reece, Preacher, Hamid were opponents although Hamid bout was a quickie.
Technically sound the guy boasted an awesome array of kicks with a fairly strong boxing base. A fight against a top tier fighhter like Warren Elson under K-1 rules would generate an immense resuurgence of popularity for the already popular, slickster.
Sure he was good but when was the last time he fought thai/kickboxing rules in Aus.

Last I recall was Preacher in K-1 or possibly one after that?
That would have been when? 2 years ago??????
The majority of these queries pertain to guys who have been noted as having their primes earlier in their careers or who have now retired.
cheers
I liked it when he kicked MACHINEGUN CHARLIE in the arm 10 years ago.

Baris fought Stam Bitakos in Sydney last year in a war at Enmore Theatre. He has had two fights for two wins in Turkey. At his peak was a powerful, long-limbed fighter with beautiful kicking arsenal and painful body shots, probably just didn't have the marketability of his other stablemates (Ozkan, Hamza).

Baris Nezif rematched Stam Bitakos in the recent Tarik Solak Turkey Show and Baris Nezif was successful again winning against his opponent.
and dont forget about his kko victory against a would be thief at the northland shopping centre.
Yeah he was an awesome kickboxer. Would have loved to see a rematch with Zambidis while still in his prime. Good on him for making a comeback. And also good on him for taking on Preacher with knees.

The most pumped and fired up I have seen Baris Nezif was when he ventured to Sydney to fight Steve " Bomber " Douett.
It was the semi main event to the Steve Jez vs Tosca fight.
With the words Douett,Douett,Douett plastered over his back Baris went on a seek and destroy mission with his hands.Either at the end
of the 1st or 2nd round the bell sounded as Baris was finishing a
punch combo. The last punch caught Douett with devasting effect.
A KO of the highest qulaity.
This was at a time when Baris was out to lift his profile and made no
friends in Sydney,as the crowd booed him for what they deemed a late blow.
When Baris was on his game... he was great to watch.
His 2 KO victories ( both inside the 1st round ) against the Preacher
are also up there with his best performances.
