How many 'main' gyms have you got over there in Perth and how many active promoters?
+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
Here we go again
+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
Promoters are MWP,Phon Martdee,Bando[Kevin junior],BJC[Justin Boylin]and BJC[Murray Mckecknie.MWP is the greatest as all 7 leading promotors and gym united for the future of muaythai. There is probably 20 gyms with fighters fighting regulary.Riddlers gym has the most talent being BoomBoom,Chris White,Kim Olsen to name just a few.

I hear the big new fitness center over there aint too bad with the likes of Rock Dawson, big Roger Izonretie,Mark Oakes and a few Belarussian champions.
All they need now is a few of my USA homey's and they will be tops. Let me know if you're interested guys and i can set things up.

i had the opportunity to get a peek at the "new big centre" in northbridge (i think... or very close to northbridge)... at that point it was in total renovation stage with a few interlocking mats on the floor. but what a space!!! upstairs and downstairs with all facitlies to come. it proposed the perfect floorplan to harbour a variety of disciplines, without getting in eachothers way. you could arguably have 3 or 4 different styles using the space at the same time without interference. if done right (which i'm sure it will be) this will be a great addition to the perth scene.
good luck to those involved...
as for riddlers gym... it awesome to hear that the move out of the garage and into a full time centre is going well. darren has left a significant and respected mark on australian muaythai in the ring... but i have the distinct feeling that as a trainer darren will develop a reputation second to none in years to come. after meeting so many trainers/fighters in the sport, those with darrens level of commitment and devotion are few and far between. so good luck to all training at riddlers also.
i think that with the establishment of the MWP and its committment to putting on regular shows, WA will be producing some awesome new talent in the next 12-18 months that will give the rest of the country some really tough competition.
good on WA for banding together and growing the sport. i hope here in Vic we can do the same so we dont get left too far behind in the new explosion that is about to happen in aust muaythai.
