From Rising Promotions
Paul "Sting" Slowinski has accepted a match with Dutch super star Xhavit Bajrami at a charity event in Switzerland to take place on the 26th of May. Bajrami is a dangerous opponent, with a record of 37F/31W/5L/1D/16KO. He fought in the K-1 World GP in 1999 losing to Ernesto Hoost, and despite winning most of his K-1 Europe fights since, hasn't made it back to Japan yet. The Sting is really taking on all comers, after winning the K-1 Oceania GP earlier this year, promoters from all over the world are trying to match this Sting on their own show the hope that their fighter can knock of the Oceania Champion and appeal to Japan. The event is a fundraiser for the Andy Hug Foundation.
