Ideal size of training gloves ?

jsu wondering what oyu guys think the ideal size of trainging glove would be.

for bag mitt pad etc work.

14oz
16oz

16oz for sparring

I also like to use 16oz gloves for most of my training, the extra weight and padding is good protection for hard sparring and defensive/countering drills, it also strengthens you arms and shoulders so when you chuck on lighter gloves(ie.for fights)you can keep you hands up easier and your hands and elbows become quicker.
