Is it just me or is there a sudden increase in sponsor logo's on Ring surfaces at shows(particularly on Tarik's)? I understand that sponsors are important and thats why the logo's are on there, but hell, they are so dangerous! The ring's surface at the K-1 max was just shocking, most of the fighters were having trouble with moving and switching up(i.e.chopper), due to the overwhelming number of logo's. Just watching Greg Foley's fight on the undercard of the Ozkan v Watt bout(at another Tarik show) and Foley almost does the full splits from slipping on a logo! It's just a matter of time before someone sustains a serious injury from slipping on these things and someone gets sued. There must be another way to advertise sponsors than to jepardise the work environment of the fighters, by incresing the logo's on the ring surface. What do you guys and girls think?

I would have thought that someone would have found a way around the problem by now harls. It can easily cost a fighter a fight. Imagine a slip which stops you from just getting out of the way in time for a head kick to connect.

Surely there must be a way of roughing up the painted surface a little without destroying the logo.

I dunno. It is a problem.

I dont know about you fellas', but I dont think anyone even pays attention to the things because we are looking at the fighters, even when the camera's directly on them i'm not consciously paying attention to them, do you know what i mean....it's like "mmm.crazy johns....I hope Parr wins this fight"
I just watched Jason Delisle slip over on Fenechs fight night, speak of the devil.
