K-1 GP... HI FROM JAPAN... ITS GONNA BE BIIIIG!!

Just thought I:d drop a line from Tokyo... the K-1 GP final is only a few days away and the excitement here has reached fever pitch in anticipation of one of the?@most unpredictable line ups in history.

I was told?@ten minutes ago that the TOKYO DOME has officially SOLD OUT to a capacity of 70,000 people... WOW! A big feature of the sales has been the rematch between BOB SAPP and ERNESTO HOOST in the second quarter final.

Jerome LeBanner arrived today, Mark Hunt is in town and so is Ray Sefo and Hoost... Sapp is also here at present. All look in good spirits and everyone is confident of taking it out, with no injuries or politics to impede anyone.

Mark Hunt appears in good shape and mentally spot on, as does Ray Sefo... many people are saying it could be an ALL OCEANIA final between Mark and Ray... though the fan favourite is JEROME LeBANNER and BOB SAPP (this would be a dream final for K-1).

Well, I gotta go but PLEASE book the event on MAIN EVENT on Monday DECEMBER 9 it kicks off at 7pm and we will bring you ALL the action of ALL THE FIGHTS plus the superbout between Mike McDonald and Martin Holm... its gonna be BIIIIG!!!

Good luck Mark and Ray... and hope you all book the event and watch what all the fuss is about... its going to be crazy... especially since Bob Sapp has been training with Steve Kolokoda and Jan Nortje and now knows how to box and leg check!

It would be good to see Hunt win again because he's one of us, but i'd really like to see Lebanner win it, mainly because he's been bashing away at the k-1 circuit for so many years but has'nt even made a final, sure he's easily tricked into brawling but he also goes looking for a K.O. which is why he's great entertainment.
He's a 95% chance of K.O.ing Musashi so he will make the next round reasonably fresh.
As for Bob Sapp and Hoost, well I wasn't able to get a bootleg of their 1st. bout but I do know how smart Hoost is and I've seen him come back against Filho and Lebanner to K.O. them both so this time he may have Sapps number??, who knows, lets just hope it's a great night of bouts and as it's the 1st. time on Aussie Mainevent T.V., hope that all the people who booked it out of curiosity get to see how great our sport is.

The k-1 is tomorrow night, so when we watch the PPV on mainevent we would have already known what was going to happen. Why isn't it being shown live?

FOR THER LAST WEEK , ALL THE GUYS AT WORK HAVE TALKED ABOUT IS K1
A SEFO - HUNT FINAL IS PICKED BY MOST AND OPINION IS DIVIDED PRETTY EVEN ON BOTH WINNING

PERSONALLY , I HOPE MARK WINS IT AGAIN

Hi guys

Unfortunately we will not be live, but hey, this is the first time ever that K-1 is being shown on Aussie PPV so I hope that instead of people complaining that it:s not live that everyone will support the broadcast... good figures mean MORE K-1 broadcasts next year... so please show your support. We also commentate the fights for SKY New Zealand and they see it a week later, so we have the quicker showing.

If you dont want to know the results, stay off the net for a couple of days I suppose... but even if you know it will be worth watching... you cant go wrong when you have Sapp, LeBanner, Hunt, Sefo and Hoost all in the one tournament!

Today is show day... just finished a breakfast with Team Sefo...　there is a huge entourage for Ray (as with most fighter)... now Ray has gone to his room to relax for a few hours as have most of the other fighters... Michael Buffer just arrived to do his thing in the ring later today... the show is a sell out - not one ticket available, not even for VIPS!

Anyhoo, gotta run... please book the show.

PS+ The press conference was interesting... Bob and Ernesto Hoost almost came to blows with Bob pushing Hoost off the stage and saying "Just tell me this, when I knock you out tomorrow will your eyes be opened or closed?"
