I think Kara V Ozkan would be an exciting fight, as they are both explosive. Kara has much better kicks than Ozkan but Ozkan has the experience. I would also like to see Gurkan take on another thai stylist, such as Carnage, the Rock, John wayne or even a rematch with Elson(I believe Elson stopped Ozkan with knees to the head). Full thai rules would be exellent but I don't think Ozkan would accept them. Even mod thai rules would be good:)

Personally I don't think gurkan would "smash" Kara. I think Kara would actually win! They are both strong guys, so Gurkans rushing forward with punches/tactic would be less effective on Kara and as I stated earlier, Kara has much better kicks and is also alot more of a cleaner, more technical fighter. But who really knows?

This would be an excellent fight and I agree with harls in favour of Kara, but not by much. Then again Gurkan has suprised us all on many occasions.

The only thing Kara would have to watch out for would be Gurkan's flurries of punches as Kara does have a soft jaw as most of us have seen in the past.

Kara has no experience with good fighters. HE couldnt put away that 18year old guy. But his physique is awesome

I don't think you are giving Nick any credit either. He defeated an absolute superstar in Manson Gibson(who's had about 100 fights and 95 wins mostly by KO when I checked last, and I think he also beat Ian Jacobs If I recall correctly) in Vegas earlier in the year and Chad Walker from WA(the 18 year old is a rising star and is no slouch either). Also at the boxing last night, Nick did take a few good right hands from Dean Keady and he took them quite well, so I think he has a better chin than some people believe(by the way Kara won by KO in the opening of the 4th).<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I think manson gibson is about 43 yrs old now! lets face it, if Gurkan Ozkan beat Gibson the first thing people would say is why is he fighting an old man? Gurkan has fought competition that simply blows away anything Kara has done. Not even close! You would have to favor the proven tough guy with the strong chin in Gurkan! Just my opinion! The guy Kara fought last night was 0-5 and had no punch.

Kara is strong but he lacks some basic skills needed to reach that next level. Lets face it, if Nick couldn't take one of Dan Tai's punches what are the chances of him taking one of Gurkan's overhands.(and Gurkan throws a ****load of these in his fights.) I have my doubts as to whether Nick is really serious about his career or whether he has become more of a trainer.
On a second note, although Nick did beat Manson which I think is great for an Aussie, he was half the fighter that we saw fight Ian 10 years ago.

u guys really have to be kidding kara would be added to gurkans excellent ko's in the first round which over 30 i believe in his 48 odd fights??? so lets think real and put kara up against all the other supermiddleweight slouches first b4 u aim for ozkan.
