What happened in here?

Why is there so much hate in here lately? Everyone was getting along fine, we all had the odd agree to disagree thread but everyone was cool. Why is there so much hate towards Zambidis, he had a hard fight with one of the best fighters in the world and lost to the better fighter on the day, no need to sink the boot and say his washed up. I think we are lucky to have such a high profile fighter coming to our shore so often.
Zambo and I had a close fight back in 2002, half the world thought he won and half the world thinks I won, the rematch is going to be massive but I still respect Zambidis for the champion he is.
Also I don't care if Aussie's cheer for Zambidis and I hope some Greeks cheer for me. I hope everyone cheers because they like the way we fight and I hope we can put on a cracker of a fight.
And Zambo taking drugs before he walks out to the ring, that's the craziest thing I have ever heard. He is a professional athlete and respected world champion, I would fall over if I even seen him with a beer in his hand let alone doing that other stuff.
It seems everyone is trying to set their arguments using Zambidis and myself against each other which is cool but its getting out of hand a little. As much as there is a score to settle between Zambidis and myself there is still that respect there and no matter who wins I am sure we will still respect each other after the fight.
Enough of my crap, hope a few people can see where I am trying to come from.
My next problem now is hoping my spelling is correct.

JWP, Great stuff mate, half the guy's on this forum haven't been to Japan to see how hard it is to win against the worlds best.

Zambidis fought a very hard opponent in Buakaw, it wasn't his best performance, but came out ok considering Buakaws style.

We had 7 guy's from Aus come to Japan, who also cheered for Ian Schaffa, he also fought well against one of the Best in Masato.

zambidis and Schaffa both lost on decisions which is better than getting Ko'ed from the top 2 in the K-1 Max.

Anyway had a great time with Ray and the boy's, the blue corner didn't do so well that night.

that attitude Aust would produce alot more champions.

And guys go easy on zambo he just had the biggest lose of his life againist one of the best in the world and the last thing he need is people 2 critazise him.
Remember when he fights in melb he gets the support from over 80% of the crowd, so lets treat him like only of our own..

Back in 1995 we had an established K1 fighter ( Stan ) go up against
a newcomer to K1 ( Greco ) in the final of the "Crowning".
An ugly brawl it was with the decision going to Greco, upsetting alot of people.
There was talk of a rematch..... a non - tournament match with the 2 of them going at it with no knees kickboxing rules.
The match never took place,which is sad,cause it would have a cracker.

Similar story with JWP and Zambidis.Both fought each other in a tournament final with the decision being a close but contoversial to say the least.
Both JWP and Zambidis are current top 10 K1 MAX fighters and we should be thankful for getting a clash this big in our own back yard.
The buzz for this fight is huge with people from all over the world
keen for it as well.

There is lots to discuss without bagging people.

How about the Ref ????
who will get to be in charge of this clash ????
Judges.... most important they get the right people that know the scoring system correctly.

Who is on the undercard.....
Maybe Preacher vs Baris
or
Soren vs Baris

Would be good to get Jenk Behic on the "cans" on the night for his comments... since he has fought both Zambidis and Parr.

If there is another 6000 crowd I hope they have more class than to boo the Aussie and cheer for the Greek.
Any 'Aussies' regardless of their heritage doing that should be shipped out on the next barge.
