IT IS NEVER TO LATE TO CHANGE

My name is Guy H I am 25 years old, when I was 20 years old I got caught up with the wrong crowd and started taking drugs and drinking alcohol. Then one night when I was 24 years old I watched a movie that changed my life, it was called “THE SMASHING MACHINE” The movie was about a man called Mark Kerr who was a pro fighter in the ultimate fighting championship in America and in pride in Japan. He also used drugs, then he had a drug overdose witch made him want to change his life, he went to rehab and got clean. That inspired me to get off drugs and alcohol. Then I watched a world famous movie called “PUMPING IRON” That movie also changed my life, watching that made me want to start training with weights, so that in the near future I could compete in amateur I.N.B.A body building comps. So I am training very hard at the gym 5 days a week and on the weekend I go swimming to relax my body from a hard week of training at the gym. You could say I am an up and coming amateur body builder who is very goal orientated. Since I have started training at the gym I have seen great changes in my body shape and in my frame of mind. This new life style is a very strong passion of mine now. I also have a free style karate and kickboxing back ground witch will help me to achieve my other future goal of competing in a K1 tournament when I am around 28 or 29 years old.
So to all those people who think it is too late for them to change, your wrong because it is never too late to change. I live by this saying, “If you want to sore like an eagle first you have to stop hanging around the turkeys”.

I am hoping for some people to get behind me and maybe print my story in the sportz blitz magazine. And hope others can learn from me.

And if a trainer is interested in making me number 1, please contact me.

Very inspiring, u should b passing ur knowledge 2 the younger genaration that r going on the wrong path.

I have a very simular exp i was on drugs for over 10yrs always mixed up in the wrong crowd popping eckys like thay where panadols but then at 25 i started training and now im 31 had over 20 fights and still pop the odd ecky when im with a chick.

But after the years of having drugs evan though im off them im still a bit of a skitso and have no value for life.

But my point is you can do it and stay off drugs

Good work, keep up with it and keep on track you will find that all your work and effort will pay off for you. Its is a rare thing to hear people that have dragged themselves out of the worst times to come up over and do something that is worthwile. Hopefully they print your story in SportzBlitz
