i picked remi to win, but not in 8 secs. awesome.

well done bukauw, bad luck zambo

Max Power, he's the man who's name you'd love to touch. But you mustn't touch! His name sounds good in your ear, but when you say it you mustn't fear! Cause his name can be said by anyone

Hayoto vs Kazuya Yasuhiro
Winner is Hayato by unanimous decision.

Yuuya Yamamoto vs Tatusji
Ref calls a halt and Yuuya goes to the corner to get a doctor check.
Docs are waving no.
Yuuya is screaming, I can fight!
Looks like a dislocation of the shoulder.
It's definitely over!
Yuuya is in tears

Oohigashi vs Ueyama Ryuki
Ryuki won by decision.

Nita Akiomi vs Sato Yoshihiro
Decision goes to Sato, Unanimous.
Akiomi sticks his tongue out at the judges. Poor guy fought like a tiger.

Buakaw v Zambidis
It's over. A decision.
Unanimous for...Buakaw

Hayato v Tatsuji
It's a decision for...Tatsuji

Ryuki v Sato
A win for Sato!

Remy and Shingo
Remy Wins In 8 Seconds!!!

Masato v Ian Schaffer
Unanimous for Masato!

Sato v Tatsuji
It's a decision for... Sato

threy had play by play on another forum. it was a close decision i think some like 30-29, 30-29, 30-29 by judges. zam landed some good body shots what seemed to do some damage. it could have gone either way...

Just finished watching the fight. Zambo landed about 3-4 power punches the entire fight, this was a bad match up for him. He was totally dominated by the longer limbed buakaw - who threw a barrage of kicks and in close range evaded zambos punches nicely, locked on the grapple n threw him to the ground over and over with what seemed like absolute ease.

Far from a close fight, but exciting to watch nontheless.

Taken from sherdog.com play-by-play:

Masato wanst a win for his comeback match.

Masato's reach is frustrating I
I slips on Masato's teep.

Ian lands a SWEET spinning kick and Masato goes down!
He's not hurt though.

Ian seems to catch Masato with something and he goes down again.
He's ok though, no count.

It's a decision!

Looks like it was a very good showing from Ian, well done to him.

This was closer than the Masato fight that Mike had, but he didnt do that much to deserve the win. Was fighting at 70% ofhis normal capacity. No excuses though, Bukaw worked harder, yet mike didnt lose any pride at all.

His defensive techniques are getting better, as majority of bukaws kicks where blocked, more punches got through than kicks, but the work rate was excellent by the thai fighter.

Yep Russ,

Zambo was looking "tired" but IMHO that's because Buakow just kept hammering him with those switch up left kicks. Fit or not, they take it out of you and it takes a world class fighter like Buakow to take it to Zambo.

The K1 quality of fighters is far greater than what Zambo has had in Aus and the A1 circuit IMHO, and Buakow showed that.

1 things for sure, Zambo is NOT comfortable in the grapple, and he did in the 3rd, realising he was behind attempt a few of those flying knees, but Buakow was just way to sharp and conditioned.

Zambo has certainly improved his kicking over recent years, but against a Thai it's like kicking a brick wall. Noticably Zambo was buckled a few times by the kicks. And his guard is SO tight but Buakow just kept peppering him with kicks.

Hardly an effective punch thrown by either, more just kicking..

A tough fight it was for Zambo..and his arms will be feeling it for sure....

Yea russ, he smiled, hugged bukaw and left the ring straight away, just like everyone else does. Spot the obvious.

mike has put on weight and we have had arguments on the other forum about speed vs power when it comes to mike. We know that mike had the right balance against Kid Yamamoto, he has a couple months to train hard for JWP, he'll be 100% for that one!

He has nothing to be ashamed of and never got done hard, he was purely beaten and thats that.

His saving the energy for Parr and then we will throw in DD and show him what a haymaker is all about <img src=icon_smile_blackeye.gif border=0 align=middle>
