I think Buakaw will beat him on points.

I think Yodsanklai. Both great kickers, Baukow better with the knees but Yod better with his hands. Whoever came into the fight with the better game plan but both come from great camps so hard call. Either way a great fight.
I don't think they have ever fought, different promoters.
Lucky enough to say I have fought both, and lost to both <img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle>.

I think Yodsanklai would beat Buakaw. It also seems he would be a very succesful K-1 fighter with his great kicks and hands, and the limited grappling under the recent rule change. The fight with JWP was awesome. Also, I think he's the 155lb/70kg lumpinee champion.

I just watched the Yod/JWP fight again last night and saw another perspective to what I saw on the night.

Previously I thought Yod just nosed it in due to the KD but in reality I think the fight was probably secure without the KD. His technique was brutal. Agree with JWP about his hands but hell, he was thumping some bloody hard kicks in too.

JWP had Sakmongkol's number (under K1 rules) and I thought the decision went the wrong way in 2004 but certainly I believe Yod was so powerful for a 69.5kg guy that it really surprised JWP.

Back on topic, I'd agree that Yod could nose Buakaw but imagine a 4 man between Yod, SMK, JWP and Buakaw?

Top 4 MT fighters in the world at 70kgs??
I reckon so.

well done voice, you actually are the first one here to say how it was. i laughed when i read people say parr-yodsenklai "could have gone either way". it was a clear win all the way for the thai and truthfully i havent seen parr handled as decisively as that for a long time. that said parr showed me one thing i always question about a fighter until i see them tested in this way...he picked his ass up off the floor after getting dropped hard and fought through it. thats true grit. everyone gets called a "warrior" these days but not many truly prove it. it would have been easy to fold there, plenty of guys would have.
