What a cracker of a show...wanted to mention a couple things.

After 2 and a half rounds I thought the Parr/Preacher fight was square, then JWP picked it up a gear. To me JWP seemed to be only just doing enough pretty well all the fight whereas Preacher was really taking it up to him.
I've seen JWP more fierce but he really played it cool and at all times had things under control. Preacher proved to many (me included) how much courage and skill he has.

A great technique I love to see it that stabbing and highly frustrating push kick into the guts. When the fighters grow tired this stinging shot keeps taking the wind out of the opponent and brilliantly keeps them off you.

Anyone notice in the Aslan/Wazza fight how Waz DIDN'T use the push kick. As such Aslan kept coming into range and doing damage. The front push kick is very underestimated...JWP uses it brilliantly in his MT fights. It also buys resting time while the fight is momentarily kept at range.

I agree the push kick is the most neglected/under-rated technique in MT/KB. Not using your push kick is like a boxer fighting without a Jab..

Agree about the push kick also...its a must!

I thought JWP's massive experience difference in big fights proved to be evident and a major telling point. He never looked in trouble and seemed to cruise and his incredible defence was flawless.

What a fite nite. They were all good hard solid fites. To nugget and Josh Sexton u guys know how to match fighters. If sorens elbow doesnt get the cut of the year i wanna know y.
To the Preacher i know every1 road u off but u were solid last nite a lesser person would of stayed down in the 3rd but u kept fighting u have balls of steel. No wonder they put u on the s1. Watching u last nite mad me inspired in the sense that u took on the best last nite u fought hard took the fite to Mr Parr u even got put down but u took it and smiled and kept fighting u are a warrior.
JWP was awesome. Hands and kicks that could knock u out of the Cahndler. JWP to a young person like myself that lives and breaths Muay Thai u r a true inspiration to many and wat we want to aspire to be. U are in a class of ur own and proved it every1 on evo 6.
Wish u and Bruce all the best for the future.

elso was rushing too much.. he would chase in throwing punches and all of a sudden he was in too close to punch anymore and resulted in the two grappling.. which IMO wasnt very good either, quite feirce but lacking technique in the grapple.. quite point orientated. on a positive note he seemd to have arslan on the back foot and he kept control most of the time. hope to see more from him in the future.

wayne was just solid, nuthing preacher thru could hold him back. hats off to bruce, he never gave up and he kept on coming forward.
great fight!!

TS2's fight was a cracker, really enjoyed that!!! all i can say..

Keogh, i was impressed with his work rate but he seemd to fade in the last round and got caught up in a flurry of punches.. up until then was landing good shots and keepin control..

Top Show, hope to see many more to come of that calibre.

preacher claims to be an aboriginal and is the captain of some indigenous team and the the main observation from evolution 6 i found is that the only time he has ever looked close to being an aboriginal is when he got his face smashed in by j-dubbya

"what would i know... i'm just some guy."
