Would have to be the best Muay Thai Show I have seen in Australia.. without a doubt<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>.
Congratulations Josh & Nugget on a excellent fight night especially between JWP & Bruce Macphie.
All the best to both JWP & Bruce for your fights in the future.
Excellent fights...Excellent Show...
Queensland definetly rocks for Muay Thai....Mark...

Yes what an awesome card it was....every fight a cracker!!!
Blood feast to the last man standing, gee if these fights had been in SA the docs or Refs would have called them off asap.
Thought the Swedish lad Ts2 Fought was very impressive but was eventually over powered by Ts2 controlled aggresion.
Big Kudos to Bruce for taking some big shots and pulling himself of the canvas a few times. Thanks to Murph for putting on a pretty slow count also. At the count of 8 Bruce look finished yet a slight slap on the face from Murph and a cmon was enough to wake him up.
Also what was great and a piece of fresh air was to have such great guest commentary such as the Cannon, Mo, Paul Briggs and Andy Raymond.
One small error was that Arslan didnt fight( as mentioned) the Carnage as it was his cousin Mohammed

I have to say that the main event, Parr vs McFie was awesome!!!
Great fight guys...well done to Bruce McFie for getting up the way he did - some hard shots taken in that 3rd round!!!!
And what a Ring General Wayne Parr is.
Glad I watched it.

What a fite nite. They were all good hard solid fites. To nugget and Josh Sexton u guys know how to match fighters. If sorens elbow doesnt get the cut of the year i wanna know y.
To the Preacher i know every1 road u off but u were solid last nite a lesser person would of stayed down in the 3rd but u kept fighting u have balls of steel. No wonder they put u on the s1. Watching u last nite mad me inspired in the sense that u took on the best last nite u fought hard took the fite to Mr Parr u even got put down but u took it and smiled and kept fighting u are a warrior.
JWP was awesome. Hands and kicks that could knock u out of the Cahndler. JWP to a young person like myself that lives and breaths Muay Thai u r a true inspiration to many and wat we want to aspire to be. U are in a class of ur own and proved it every1 on evo 6.
Wish u and Bruce all the best for the future.
You can talk all ya want but talk is cheap.

top stuff!
great fites with jwp proving he's the best of the best. only thing missing was the voices commentry. adny raymond is slick but he doesnt make the hairs on the neck stand on end in a main event like schiavello. bring on evo 7 hopefully with boom boom on the card.

I'm filthy that I missed it, I set a reminder in my phone and everything and still missed it.
Dutts did you tape it? I'll catch up with you to borrow it if possible?

The venue came up looking great on fox. It gave a coliseum type vibe.
real a-class fights. Shaggy's coming on really well, seen him fight at beenleigh a few times, always improving. Did i hear right that he weighed in at 69 kgs', he def carried that well.
If hammer's right about a 55kg tourney, the swede wouldn't be out of place. He had a lot of power and skill.
Congrats

Is this show available on dvd yet? If not, can someone do a copy? (I don't have Fox).

Yes... that 55kgs tourny sounds like it would go off.
Chris White would have to be one of the favourites if he entered.
Hope it happens.... and it will give the smaller guys some much needed exposure.
Any chance of a 8 lady tourny at some stage as well ???????
We have the talent to make it very competitive.
cheers Spada

I suggested a 8 woman tourny about 3 years ago. I believe scotland hosted the first ladies tourny about 3 months after my suggestion. I agree we have more than enough talent to pull it off quite well..

You thought it was good watching it on FOX, hell should have been there with the atmosphere, people standing on their seats when Parr and Preacher were toe to toe.

I bought tickets for evolution 4 from NTG and asked about the card, he said Majid just walked into his gym, said he was an amateur boxer and had a handful of kickboxing fights and that he wanted to fight. That's pretty cool, I guess he must've impressed Nugget during a workout and got a go, but he was knocked out in evolution. 4. He did well at evolution 6 though, much sharper. Nugget's an awesome trainer.

great show, loved it. one of the best i have seen. was great to see live but just as good to watch it last night!!
Max Power, he's the man who's name you'd love to touch. But you mustn't touch! His name sounds good in your ear, but when you say it you mustn't fear! Cause his name can be said by anyone

yes the whole night was great but even better was how jdubbya and bruce after fighting that battle stayed ringside for ages talking to the punters and taking photos with them. Both are true legends of the sport and should be admired dont think you would see that in any other form of fighting
