This would be a great match..should be on FOX if it happens...
Would be a good fight for the Melbourne crowd..needs to be a build up fight for the Melbourne fans.. Give Daniel & Jason a couple of fights against other opponents in the New Year then put it on a big show...preferably FOX.. so we all can see it...

Hi guys, we drove 2 and half hours to Taupo for the Highlanders show a few months back and watched Daniel America destroy Andrew Banham, what a good fighter he is. could you give me any info on his back ground? He looked like he had done some Karate and My trainer, One of our top Kyokushin fighters (7 times NZ heavy weight, 3rd world teams in France, 2 Japan world tournaments) thinks he saw him compete in Australia in Karate a few years ago. Both good upcoming fighters. If my memory serves me correctly, the two may have had a gym spar together a few years ago..

Iceman, there was an article in the local paper about Daniel a few weeks ago (he's a Dandenonger), I'll see if I can retrieve it...

This fight will happen at the end of 2006. First both boys will fight a few more bouts with other oponents and if all goes well they will meet late 2006.
Daniel America is matched to fight Dion Crouch on the 4th. March 2006 at Chelsea Heights Hotel. This fight will be very interesting because Jason Tramsek KO'd Dion in the 5th round. Also Daniel America KO'd Dion's Brother-in-Law,in New Zealand for the Amateur world Title.[u]</u> May be a grudge match.

Michael,

Not stirring here, will either of these guys fight Full Thai rules.

Just curious cos there's NO DOUBT they are 2 of the best kickboxers at that weight in the country, but just wondering if they will ever venture past kickboxing.

As I said Im, not stirring just genuinely asking, cos these guys have a LOT of ability and was thinking with a few more fights, perhaps Carnage one day.....

I DO NOT want to stir the pot, just reiterating interested in their future goals..

I know Daniel America does not want to fight Thai Rule coz I tried to get Daniel To fight Dion under Thai rule and his trainer Paul Fyfield does not want to fight under does rules. as for Jason, I think A-1, K-1, & then Kickboxing are the order of styles which we will see him fighting under. But a very good question Bushi.
If you can think of a good fight For Dion Under Thai rule I am happy to put it on. Dion fight NHB as well.

Im,

Why do you constantly stir the pot when there are so many of us trying to bridge the gap in Victoria and move forward?

I am Thai through and through. I attended Michael's recent show at Chelsea Heights. The last show of Michael's I attended was 3yrs ago at Springvale. I attended the recent show for several reason's. One being the lack of Muay Thai shows in Vic and the need for a fight 'fix'. I am honest enough to admit that the show at Chelsea Heights was Excellent and although there were no Knees or Elbows thrown It was a very entertaining night. Well worth the money. There were several of us Thai Stylists that attended and we all commented that we would go along again.

With the WMC now progressing in Victoria the main objective (as dicussed on Monday night) is a cooperative 2006 fight calendar. There are so many of us in Victoria requiring a Knees and Elbows fix more often than every 3 months. The ball is now rolling and the support is there to help the state of Victoria grow.

Positive Thoughts Produce Positive Actions.

Michael,

Thanks for the reply..

Daniel now trains with Paul Fyfield....pardon my ignorance but how long has that been happening and wasn't he a Kelly Seif boy !!!

BTW, where is Kelly Seif these days and his AWESOME Judgement Day shows..

Would be a good clash for sure.....

America 1st appeared on a K1 Oceania undercard .... did well... then dissappeared from the scene.

Is he going to take the next step ??????
just haven't seen him fight or mentioned in awhile.

Tramsek has a style similar to a young hungry Stan.
Smaller framed but can cut it with the bigger boys.
Has a good array skills and plenty of power.

cheers Spada

Donny,

Well said, and as you said, yes WE are MT through & through but we also appreciate good evenly matched fights, ie Judgement Day, how good were they !

Michael, what weight's Dion and his record..

Thanks for you support Donny. I think that all styles in Combat feild have a place and a audiance base.
I recall the Ivonhoe show days in the 90's, when all the bouts were Muay Thai rules and I only put fighters in with thai rules. now days we have Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Boxing, NHB, Kun Khmer, Full contact Karate and more...
there are lots of different styles to choose from. This is what is great about Melbourne.
I beleive with the WMC forming in Victoria there is going to be a big improvment in the Muay Thai quality comming out of Victoria. And Its about time. the appointment of Carl Drapper as State representive is the best thing that could have happened for WMC in Vic.

As for Daniel America, He has been training with Paul Fyfield for about 2 years. Very long story, which I don't know the full details but Its all water under the bridge now.

Dion can fight from 86kgs to 91kgs. I will find out his record a post it for you Bushi.

Hi Dazmon, Thanks for that, We are full contact karatekas but we travel to as many fights regardless of style as we can. Daniel impressed us with his ushiro geris and chudan yoko geris as his opponent bounced of the ropes after good mae geris, awesome to watch. OSU! RTR

if and when daniel america fights jason will he put up his world title ?

Michael Vukovic
07-12-2005, 09:50 PM
His world title was a WKBF Muay Thai rule fight. I think Daniel doesn't want to fight under Muay Thai rules again.

will it be a title fight at all

Michael Vukovic
07-12-2005, 10:10 PM
The fight has not been set yet. right now its like asking "how long is a peice of string". If both fighters do well in their other matches, then I would expect the fight purse and contract negotiation be accepted by both parties. We will have a good match up, title or no title.

Hi Bushi. Dions fight record is:
Dion's fight stats for kickboxing/modified thai are 15
fights, 6 wins, 8 loss, 1 draw

Michael Vukovic

I am the wrong person to ask about comparisons with Jason Tramsek.
I have always matched him with good opponents, and he gets the job done every time. Quote from Rocky "he's a wrecking machine"
When I matched Jason with the best amateur boxer from Queensland's Globle Boxing it only lasted 1 round
then Jason fought 6'6 tall Scott Budworth from Perth who is a very strong fighter- Jason Ko'd him inside the distance.
Then Jason fought Sam Conyu (who has had over 24 fights) from Perth-well ko win to jason in the 1st round.
Jason vs Dion Crouch.-Good fight with Jason showing his tools over 5 rounds and Dion being a very tough opponent. -Jason Ko'd Dion in the 5th.
Jasons Last fight was with Somon Blade on NO RESPECT 3- well Punch knock down, then 2 Flying knees to the head knock downs finally another KO win to Jason.
If Jason was to fight Daniel America tomorrow, As a promoter, I would try to sell you the public, the fight as a war. But I would put my money on Jason. In fact if Daniel wanted to bet his purse on It I would cover the bet without a blink of an eye.
HE'S A WRECKING MACHINE. THE TERMINATOR-JASON TRAMSEK

They're very flexible Boss and they will basically just get flicked out if a punch gets through, it doesn't have to be hard, just a slippery punch!
And they're hard to pick up with gloves on so someone else has to do it, and save them from destruction!

Oooooh Yeah!

isnt it true that jason holds a south pacific title..? only after a handful of fights?

I beleive Jason hold a south pacific title in kickboxing, which he won against Dion Crouch, (from NZ))I think. He's a good champion for that level.
Why Have the Seth camp got someone for Jason.?
PS- didn't Boom Boom have the same title (South Pacific) at an early stage too?

Seth_2
22-12-2005, 11:22 PM
hmm im not sure.. i didnt think he held any KB title.. eugene may have held an australian IKBF title, but i dont think he held south pacific.

as for our fighters.. i wuldnt think we have any KB's but im sure we culd manage to "make" one for a south pacific title... hehehe

Ease up mate, don't you think it would be easier to type words that aren't actually spelled correctly but understood and accpeted by 'most' people.

I hope you find that my spelling and grammer in this post are more pleasing to you as I will be starting TEE next year and bad spelling will not get me anywhere.

Kind Regards,

Does Jason ever fight out of Melbourne cause I've only heard of him fighting in Queensland once against an opponent that was obviously picked as an easy fight and that was on paul demicoli's first Ultimate Aggression

Success is how high you bounce when you hit the bottom (kostya tszyu)

da_predator
02-01-2006, 03:41 PM
Captain Charisma your an idiot' because when jason fought in queensland on paul demicolis show jason was only 15 years old.and if you think his opponent was hand picked then may-be you should jump in the ring with him now or are you just another key-board gladiator who wants to be and never was ? ps unless you actualy know the facts you shouldnt make remarks
