I am not normally interested in watching non-fighting sports, but I think watching that took about a year off my life haha, it was so stressful, but worth it in the end!

Here and now, we are gone in a heartbeat, a dream in the passage of time.
Chances are fading, this world isn't waiting, the moment is passing you by.

i was down there sitting behind the goals where the penalty shootout occurred.
Being a big football nut it was the best night of my life, was crying for 20mins after the game. Never experienced a crowd like it and no voice left today. Of course was out all night in city after and it was like peak hour.

We're going to Germany!!! This will be my 3rd WC final, it is an amazing experience, everyone should witness one if possible.

Hi Voice,

You didn't get arrested lastnight? You should have jumped the fence. Lol. <img src=icon_smile_clown.gif border=0 align=middle>

Soccer will certainly pick up now after last night game. With the A- league pushing hard to get more people to the games.

Some of my friends used to always bagg the Socceroo, after last night game they have been converted to a true blue Skippy. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

know everyone will now who the SOCCEROO's are and not the SOCCERWHO'S
I stayed up last night for it also being an old goalkeeper my stomach was in knots watching the shoot out.
i bet the Uraguyan goalie felt so low that he could've cut the grass on the pitch from underneath when he missed that last one.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

yep im not even a soccer fanatic and i have to say that was the second best sporting event i have been to. (been to the tokyo dome for the k1 grand prix so thats first hehehe). i was with voice and a group of 1500 lads and im telling you it was something special just being there. I am a rugby fanatic but even the bledisloe cup, dare i say it, had nothing on the game last night. and i think my mother would have shin kicked me in the head if she saw me last night wearing my aussie jersey hehehe!

i wasnt at the game, but i had about 20 mates over my joint with projector and alot of beer setup.
We were arm in arm standing side by side, for that shootout. The whole game built to that climax at the end, it was sooo tense the whole game, if uruguay scored we were out, it was as simple as that. Then penalties... what can is say, i want schwartzers babies for god sake!!!!
Thirty two years built up to that shot by aloisi, when i saw that ball thunder into the back of the net i uncontrollably wept. No joke, i have never cried before since i was a kid, knowing what this means for foot ball in austrlia.
I think were going to make a mark on germany too btw. With guus at the helm we can do anything. We saw what he did with one week to work with our boys, he;ll have a month before the world cup to work with them.

I'm booking my tickets as soon as i find out where and when were playing.

GO you green and gold boys!!!!

For Johnny warren, RIP mate, we made it like you said we would.
