tie down bags

guys, any opinions or experience with tying bags to the floor using the strap at the bottom to restrict the movement. We have them free swinging at the moment but reduced space will mean they will be banging into the walls. Any of the trainers/fighters have any thoughts on the pros & cons?

If you do tie them use elastic and test the movement/rebound of the bag. If the bags are swinging a lot you could also consider putting in more weight.
