STAN TO RETURN TO RING SOON? - October 2002

Negotiations are underway for Stan to possibly return to the ring in 2003. He has been offered a deal which could see him fight 2 or 3 times next year. Tentative details include a February or March date at the Vodafone Arena in Melbourne. A fight in Sydney at some stage has also been discussed. More details coming very soon.

Yes guys,

Stan is coming back!
His comeback fight will be against South America's Espidito "The Black Panther" Da Silva at the Vodafone Arena in February. He is the guy who fought LeBanner on the Evander Holyfield undercard in 1998.
Stan was not planning to fight on, but has been enticed to sign a deal that will extend his career for another 3 to 4 fights. The February date is the first of that deal.
I hope Sydney doesn't take place, as they have to wear those shin pads!

even though its great to see stan return,i feel it would of been much more exciting to see him fight a k1 contender.i feel stan will win this fight easily i would like to see him get pushed a bit more
