Well!!
Great effort Mat to win in Sydney and bring home a title to country vic. Mat defeated Simon Blade over four rounds, it was a blood bath with Mat winning every round. He was too strong in the end putting Simon on the canvas many times with some nice hands and great leg kicks. We may see Mat and Simon re-match in vic on the next Muay Thai Spectacular in Shepparton fighting under Muay Thai rules.. ONE NOT TO MISS....

Huge congratulations to Matt Reid on his great win. He conducted him self like a true proffesional from the time he arrived to the time he left. in my opinon he is a well balanced fighter who has it all and is a credit to his trainer. Matt you are welcome on my show any time your fit and want to come to Sydney.

hey matty,

congrats mate. all those miles are sure paying off. matty trains like a demon and runs to and from work everyday... smullen tells us its about eight K's one way. matty's really coming together after the hard work in Thailand... he's a country MT fighter you should all keep an eye on.

Well Done Matt,

It is AWESOME to see a country lad put in the hard yards and in turn be rewarded for his efforts. Victoria is really starting to pick up the pace.

Obviously not trying to take away one of Tony Best's key attractions but I don't suppose there is any chance of seeing Matt on Brute Force 4 ??

Sam, just because someone doesn't jump at your suggestion, it doesn't mean anyone is dodging anyone. I'm sure Matt has bigger fish to fry.

well sam i agree because in every waight division there always someone standing in the way of a fighter climbing the rankings? and in this case i think its matt standing in the way . so either stand up or stand aside

Sam & Coach,
As I said Mat is booked in October and November and he is not dodging anyone. ONCE AGAIN NEXT YEAR MAYBE A POSSIBLITY.....
