Hi,
My name is Maria. I am currently studying at Bond University, Gold Coast, Queensland. As part of my fourth year assessment, I am require to submit a 10,000 word thesis of my choice. I have chosen to research Confidence, Anxiety and Mental imagery of Thaiboxers/Kickboxers. To date, Thaiboxing has been neglected by researchers.
I hope that my findings will add to the scope of knowledge in the field of sport psychology and provide an evidence base for sport psychologists and trainers to develop mental training programs for their fighters.
I am hoping that there may be a few of you out there who can spare some time to help me out (and maybe even distribute to your gym members). Your participation would entai completing a questionnaire which takes about 30 minutes, it is completely anonymous.
I am unable to pay you for your time, however, if my findings are published, I will ensure that you get a mention in the article, and formally thanked. Your participation will a valuable contribution the scientific progression of the sport.
