Hey guys
Just got back from NZ and another fantastic show... here's the lowdown:

Ricardo VDB lost to Jay Hepi by decision after extension round... good solid fight, Hepi is new blood to K-1, big heavy-set Maori... I thought VDB might have won this but Hepi got the nod.

Peter Graham defeated Ron Sefo by decision... cool and calculated performance from Mr Incredible... he landed the rolling thunder end of the second round and dropped Sefo who was almost out of it... this was textbook stuff from Graham.

Chris Chrisopoulides lost by decision to Daniel Tai... Chris was dropped in the first badly from a left hook... he recovered excellenly and took the second and third in my opinion 10-9, 10-9 but the judges gave it to Daniel Tai... understandable, but I would have gone an extension round... btw Chris had his biggest roll out of the ring yet! He hit the floor!

Paul Slowinski KO'd Syd Asiata 2:28 into first round... huge hype on Syd but he failed to live up to it... he landed one good uppercut on Paul but that was it... Syd made the silly mistake of opening into a leg kick contest with the Pride of Krakow... strange thing was that Slowinski dropped him three times NOT with kicks but with LEFT HOOKS! Go the big stud of Muay Thai!

Paula Mataele KO'd Hiriwa TeRangi second round... I keep telling everyone that Paula WILL BE THE NEXT BIG THING in K-1 and he fought a perfect fight... I mean, this monster fought perfection... he outkicked TeRangi, he out-kneed him, his defences were spot on and when he unloaded in the second round to put THREE COUNTS on TeRangi, well, it was a slaughter... I never seen TeRangi take a hiding like this... Paula is awesome

Jason Suttie KO'd Matt Samoa one round... a fiery Suttie wasted no time in laying waste to Matt Samoa...

October 8 is the next leg... the main event PAULA MATAELE vs JASON SUTTIE -- WOW!!!
