8 man for Eugene's title?

Just a thought, how would 75kg 8 man tournie for Eugene's title sound as a first defence?

Well, not really a world title defence per se, as the reps I am going to list are all Oceania, but damn, check out the line up you could have in FT at 75.

Potentially:

Eugene
Daz
Carnage
DDD
Elson
McKinnon
Ozkan
Halford

WOW!!! This would rule, they all offer one thing or another, even Ozkan and the slightly smaller Halford. If weight could be maintained this would rule.

Don't even need to put up Eug's title, who cares, the line-up speaks for itself.

Consider in WA (provided heavier guys lose a bit or vice versa) you could supplement:

Guilfoyle
Walker
Hinds
Olsen
Kon-yu
Allan
DeVanna

or even the likes of:

Choppa
Boyes
J. White
Dixon
Headhunter
Sniper

Heck, add in 7 more and make (32 man) 2 prelim rounds then your 8 man qualifier.

Who would win the 8 man initially listed above? I prob take Carnage, but w/elbows etc anything could happen i.e. cuts, bruising, breaks. Who would I go for....., prob Daz.

Personally I think it's a crazy idea. Maybe if it was a vacant title. This means he would mean he would have three chances to lose the title in one night and the best fighter doesn't always win the tourny's. Cash is the way to go for tourny's.

There is a great talent pool between 75-85kgs who are not suited to fighting Max or HW. I don't support Titles being put on the line for a tourney style event, but agree with your names as a great potential lineup in a K1 or mod Thai 8-man.

I'd like to see more KO bonuses in these events.

Yeah I know, unfair re: title hence the correction thereafter in the same post, but idea always good and line-up be the best I think i would have seen, or near anyway.

Carnage has stacked it on, I am living in the past I guess, sorry.
