Doco should be out around November. The Max final was the final shoot, we had lunch with Helen and Adam from National Geographic to celebrate. Helen told me next week she will travel to Singapore locking her self in a small room for three months putting it all together. She has 55 forty five minute tapes she has to watch twenty to thirty times each to get a feel for each tape and to work out what her story line is going to be.
Helen travelled to Thailand and filmed Baukow training for three days, she travelled to Japan to film Masato training for three days then came back to Thailand to film my last two days training with Sakmongkon. We caught the same plane to Japan and she filmed the weigh-in and press conference, she also had meetings with K-1 and is allowed to use the fight footage filmed by TBS Japanese tv so should be nice and clear with slow-mo's.
The doco didnt work out as she had expected, the final I lost to Kraus, Masato broke his foot and Baukow was beaten on points but on the other hand she said it will show that it is a hard sport and no matter how hard you try you never know whats going to happen.
Helen said she is also going to try and see if she can get it shown on ABC or SBS once it is finished so thats pretty amazing. Once it's all done she will send me out a copy so very excited to finish the final product.

Can you imagine how hard it would be to edit so much footage. Damn, I find it hard getting a wedding video down to 90mins. Saying no to footage that cost you thousands of dollars to make must be bloody hard.

Is it only going to be 90 minutes? Wow, that's a lot to cut >.<

The final product should be absolutely amazing. No, the final product WILL be absolutely amazing.

Can't wait.
