Yeh was a great nite, Eugene taking the win over Jiri Zak by split points dec. Was a very close fight with Eugene landing more knees in the clinch, and some hard right hands from outside. They went kick for kick at times, but Jiri Zak landed some crisp punch kick combos. I think Eugene did enough to win. Would be interested to hear other views though.
Other results from the main card:
Darren Reece lost to the Thai, but put up an awesome fight against a top fighter.
Chris White got a draw with Roongchai
Chad Walker defeated N.Z. opponent

Congrats Boom Boom!
Awesome night, huge congrats to BOOM BOOM, we are all so proud of you mate. I've put the challenge out on the QLD July 23 show topic for either of the boys who fought in that main event to step up & take on the new WORLD CHAMP in Perth Oct 1st, either Wazza or Rama vs Boom Boom would be a cracking fight, opinions?
Thanks to everyone involved last night, & a massive goodbye from everyone to Darren Riddler Reece, you are a true champ & a legend mate, its a pleasure working with you-big things for us in the future mate.

Well done and congratulations to Eugene you fought a great fight. Im a huge BOOM BOOM fan, but i seriously think that he got a home town decision. The fight was close but everything that BOOM BOOM threw at Jiri, Jiri Zak thew back with interest both guys were just awesome to watch but i think BOOM BOOM didnt quiet do enough to take the world off Jiri Zak.And im not the only one who thinks this but anyway it was close and both fought a huge fight.
Hi, anyone have the results of all the fights on this show?

yes there was alot of ppl with that opinion but even stephan fox agreed that it was a fair decision. I think Eugene knows that it was a very close fight so that is why he has accepted a remacth in chech republic. Congrats to him neway....looking 2wards bigger and better things now, every1 is very excited 4 him!

interesting the continual Chris White vs Rungchai battle...seems these 2 very evenly matched.
Would be good to bring TS2 back into the equation.
Was this fight a good one? Any good connecting elbows, Rungchai his usual step up boxing style?

Voice-Not many elbows but a good hard, close fight, Rung was good but not at his best. Aaron has had numerous fights with both these boys- I think its time to introduce some of the TOP eastern bloc fighters to take on this trio-there is a huge pool of talent in those countries let me tell you & alot of them are relatively "unknowns" to most Aussie promotors, trainers, fighters etc, & fans.
Zdk-Do you blame me-have you seen Amy? & she's a knee fighter-sweet!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>
