All I can say is how disapointing it was that Fox Sports chose not to show the 2 most exciting fights of the night.

Tennille May V Latasha and Angie Parr V Godfrey

Whats the deal??????

and we all know your interest is in the quality of the fight and not the fighter right <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> hehehe

I'm guessing that they incorrectly assumed that we would not be interested in seeing women fight.

Even worse there were actually 3 womens fights with WMC World Champ Shanan Beaver in the 1st or 2nd bout of the night.

Seems a little odd that every night we can turn on the news and see bodies laying strewn across the ground from around the globe and that this violence is okay for our viewing pleasure.

the sport of ours will only grow when it show's both women and men among the ranks and in such major tournaments.....also with women taking place as well as some people look at people who practice muay thai or kickboxing and people thing all of a sudden we are trouble makers no were not we are just in enjoying a great sport just like eg:soccer... and also learning self defence at that same time....

as i have seen on the other topics about women fighting it's a sport and the time has past for discrimination of any sort....
my thoughts only....

Fox hasn't shown Women fighting in about 5 years. They used to have them and then they stopped.

Wendy Miranda, Amanda Graver, Karen Williams were just some of the females who were shown on fox before they stopped.

Yes it is a shame for our sport that the women cant get exposure on Foxtel..something in at Foxtel needs to be changed..someone in charge of controlling what goes to air doesnt like seeing women fight and that person needs to be changed..Why too is it that we couldnt get Foxtel over to Perth for a show that had a WMC World title, an intercontinental title and 11 internatinal contests and 3 womens fights as compared to some of the crap shows and titles that the Australian public is exposed to by viewing Foxtel???
