Whether its pirated or not makes no difference to the graphics or the gameplay. It makes a big difference in your wallet though.:)

My wifey landed this morning and unpacking tonight handed me the game

Zam and Serkan Yilmaz are amongst the fighters on the front cover

the game is deadset awesome

i just played a few superfights

i played as JWP

1st fight VS zam win KO round 1
2nd fight VS masato loss KO round 1
3rd fight VS baukaw win KO round 2
4th fight VS masato loss KO round 2
5th fight VS JWP (JWP vs JWP) loss KO round 3

graphics are great

when you score a hit , for a fraction of a second , your opponent goes yellowish for a moderate hit and redish for a hard hit

basically all in japanese but how to play can be worked out quite easily and main menu is in english ( superfight , practice , road to max , etc)

all in all i say its much better than streetfighter or tekken as the graphics are much more life like as are the sounds

id say 8/10 overall

I got given a copy of the game by K-1 while in Japan the other day, cant play it yet cause I need a chip my PS2. Do I have any special moves? What about graphics? Cant wait to play this, there are so many rematches out there waiting.

yeah ya have 3 special moves

rough translation from japanese -

1. low punch rushing
2. 1 2 uppercut combo
3. high punch rushing

ill play it again this afternoon and ill take pics with camera for ya

K-1 games come out every year in Japan for PS2 and they never get an official Aussie release. Only way to get them here was through game pirates, bless their hearts! Unless Drew decides to be a nice guy and trade with people here or reply to people, just keep an eye out on the blackmarket where the game will probably eventually surface...at bargain prices.

Tony if you have a dvd burner and a good internet connection there are heaps of places you can download the disc image to then burn... just search google and you should be sweet..
not that i would condone or encourage digital piracy <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

playing as JWP i can now beat masato

3rd round KO last 3 times now

Kraus is hard to beat too
1st time ko loss round 3
2nd & 3rd time ko win in round 3
cant quite get him in round 2
