Hi guys, I was looking to get back into Muay Thai training after quite a lay off. I used to train with Sun Doi, does anyone know where he's teaching now?
Has anyone had any reports about Taipan in Bexley?
Any other suggestions for a good gym around Bankstown (Sydney) that teaches genuine Muay Thai?

Thanks for the link humble. I had heard of John before but I thought he was only a promoter, I didn't realise he also had a gym.

sun doi is still around though. he is training mark hunt in his kickboxing sessions. he trains at his house in his back yard. i have been there but can not recollect his exact address but out the back of liverpool somewhere.

Can someone tell me more about Sun Doi?

I've heard his name before, but dont know much about him.

Sun originally used to be one of the trainers at Steve Jez's gym way back when. When I joined him he was teaching out of a gym in Liverpool, then he moved to Mark May's gym also in Liverpool.

I didn't like it there at Mark Mays too much because our class was basically mixed in with the resident kickboxing class so it wasn't great.

Sun's most well-known student would be Marcus 'Mad Dog' Mangan, also another guy was there called Dale, his surname escapes me. He was also quite good.

Thanks for that, do you know if he still does classes, or does he just train fighters now? If he does I'll have to dig out his phone number.
