hey guys,
main event looks great... i've had the pleasure of seeing many of Ramazan's fights from the early ones through to the chopper fight. i was amazed at how quickly he improved over a few short months... i saw him fight leonard sitpolek in phuket for some sort of local title there... then not 4 months later he was here fighting chopper. benny spivak and I cornered him for that fight and he was a completely different fighter than the one i saw in phuket. i've never seen anyone develop rhythm and timing that quickly... if his rate of progress has continued at that pace we'll be in for an absolute world class main event... after saying all that though... GO WARREN!!!
fortunately we have three fighters coming up for the undercard of this show, so we'll get to see the fight first hand... cant wait...

I saw Eli Madigan fight recent in Sydney on JNI's program, in a great display against Keogh. Very aggressive and ripped fighter.
Hey Sicarii, what happened to Ramazan? Not on the poster, which is correct?<img src=icon_smile_question.gif border=0 align=middle>
That would have to be one of the matchups of the year if still going on.

hey guys,
from what i can gather the poster was done quite some time ago. i sent joe photo's of my guys about two weeks ago and that was already too late to go on the poster... so it seems as though the line up has changed since printing and it looks like ramazan is gonna be the one fighting.

nice one...you rarely get a late correction to a fight which is actually BETTER than what's on the the poster!:)

Hi Seth 2 mate he will be fighting at 72.5kg and Lance trains at Boonchu NZ with Rex Redden, and for the supa 8 on Nuggets show we will be getting Warren down to 70kg or under so we can see the best of the best battle it out here in QLD.
Seth 2 are you training hard, and hopfully soon we can match Boom Boom and Warren here on the coast which would be a crowd puller as well.
Talk soon

hey richard how are you?
sounds like 2 top fights there, and a typical QLD undercard (good quality aswell).
Yes, gettin back into some solid training again, 4-5 times a week. Looking forward to probably fighting in september here in perth. Im sure its safe to say Eugene vs Warren would be a cracker and im sure all us muaythai fanatics would be going to see it at all costs... but we'll see what happens with that one, all eyes focused on his world title shot at the moment.
Well better get going, im at work and gotta get home.
Talk 2 u later, cheers

looking forward to it though... hopefully the sunshine coast will live up to its name and be sunny & warm, coz i'm freezing my arse off here in Melb and i've just about had as much as i can handle...

Hey guys. The reason behind Ramazan's hair is that he does some modelling in thailand. I trained and stayed with him and his cousin(Arslan) recently at Rompo. To make any kind of money in thailand modelling you gotta have the hair. Thaiboxing hasn't got enough money in it to live ultra comfortable so they both have the side job of modelling.
Wish I was there for the fight. Anyone wona give a run down on the main event?

Great show Joe and Richard!
The main event was such a great battle. It was very inspiring to watch the way Warren and Ramazan fought, great skills, plenty of ticker and alot of sportsmanship. Ramazans jab landed well all night, at times they went toe to toe with punches, other times great clinching action, Ramazan threw a few more elbows, i think only one or two landed. Both men were exhausted by the end. Close fight but i think Ramazan edged every round.
My first time to see Eli, and i was very impressed. Ive never seen anyone through bombs as big as lance, a few landed, they didnt worry Eli though, he was slick and used his kicking skills well to keep lance away, at the end of the 3rd? Eli put on about 20 unanswered shots with lance covering up in the corner, great fight.
Also the heavyweigh fight was awsome, didnt get to see many other fights.

The new WMC supermiddleweight WORLD CHAMP "BOOM BOOM" vs one of the above boys in Perth Oct 1st? Opinions?

BOOM BOOM fighting either would be great. Another good option would Ramazan's cousin, Arslan! They are both guarenteed to put up a great fight. Both Russian boys would need to step up in weight as they both "usually" fight 70-72kg. I would be keen to watch Warren V BOOM BOOM!

hi guys,
well after a whirlwind trip up to the sunshine coast (and i use the word SUNSHINE loosely) we have arrived back in melbourne to the same miserable weather we've grown accustomed to...
but now seems like a good time to thank Joe for shipping us up there and to richie and matt who tirelessly drove us "to and from" everywhere (til 3:30am lastnight mind you) and to all those who came and supported the show. we were grateful to receive alot of crowd support towards us non-local fighters...
let me tell you guys it was a superb show with quality fights from start to finish.
but i must say to my own fighters Amy, Corey and Simon, that they performed greatly and showed the QLD guys that melbourne isnt just full of Kickboxers. Amy had her best fight yet and relaxed enough to move along with a good thai rhythm, stephanie gave her a good fight and they both performed well. Corey did what he does best and grappled his way to a victory, punctuated by a few good punches in between... Simon had the toughest bout out of our guys stepping up to one of Ray matsumara's Five Rings boys... he was a good tough opponent for Simon having twice as many fights. simon fought well but got outclassed by the boys experience. Simon was scheduled to fight Bryce but due to an injury on Mark pease's show the week before, Bryce had to pull out... the young japanese fighters was a last minute replacement , so, thanks to yoshi for taking the fight on two days notice...
all in all, we had a great time. joe and his boys were all a pleasure to work with... once again, great show and we hope to be back there soon...
