the only problem is its usually on at 3am sydney time

im well off in la la then and i get up at 5 30am for work so getting up at 3am aint an issue , it just wont happen

being a member of superleague website is good tho , you get to watch any fight you choose from just about any date

Just curious as to why a few Superleague fighters don't seem to get the chance to compete in the K1 MAX????

El Amrani
Peter Crooke
Malaipet Sitprapom
Ole Baguio Laursen
are a some of the names Iam referring to.


Albert Kraus and JWP cross over and compete in both organisations....
but I don't see the superleague guys even fight in MAX eliminators.

Hi Spada

You are asking the wrong guy but I can try and answer it with the knowledge I have. :)

With SuperLeague developing at a furious pace and at least seven events being staged next year (and a tournament in August in Austria this year) there is a lot of possibilities for the global fighters.
With K-1 they tend to tie up the fighters in exclusive contracts making it difficult to go somewhere else thus making it difficult for new fighters to fight for K-1.
But there are quite a few SuperLeague fighters who have fought in K-1: Jose Reis, Ole B. Laursen, Wayne Parr, Shane M. Chapman, Albert Kraus, Peter Crooke (not 100% sure about him), Neil Woods, Duane Ludwig, Nitta Akeomi and Jordan Tai. :)

Peter Crooke has fought Kohi in Japan.He was winning the fight until he got caught in the last round and was KOed.

Paulo Balicha (spelling???) has also fought in the qualifiers.


When will we see Duane Ludwig back in action on the superleague???

Also.... the " muay thai machine" Farid Villuame,do you think he will
fight in the superleague this year.

Thanks for the info mate. I will ask Marcus Bauer about possible new fighters for the near future.

We launch a HUUUUUGE website withing the next couple of weeks where I will act as the main content mangaer and the site will be updated DAYLI with news,rumours, fight cards, interviews etc. plus there wil be a forum/community and members area, press area etc. This will be big and everybody will be up to date with everything concerning SL.

Would be cool to see Farid fight for SL though - I totally agree.

Ludwig was supposed to be fighting on the next event in Germany - dunno what happend (not that I mind...... ;)).

So how exactly do you copy the broadcast onto your pc using media player? Please excuse my ignorance. I can see that you can copy to a cd and burn it, but I don't know how to transfer the download straight to my hard drive.

Help, I don't want to miss out.

I was wondering how the hell to do it also. Tried looking through all the option tabs ect, tried Windows Media player site too(Breifly anyway)
I downloaded this progam for free that'll record to your hard drive from Windows media player. Here's the link

Rob there is no record from a stream facility on Media Player.
Best bet is to do a search for something like Danny found..
Check some of the warez forums for not so legal copies <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
I was gonna look but I am going to be at work anyway so doubt I will be able to find one with a timer record function haha...
If I find one I will post it.

I do not know how to record from the media player but I specifically know that recording is allowed as we have discussed this in the SuperLeague.
If there is a maximum somewhere in the software or something could somebody please post it here immediately and I will call SuperLeague.

Oh I just found out that you can right click on the picture and choose Properties and then you see the exact URL. :)

Rob, don't know if you're still up? Do a search for a password generator for the windows recorder and it'll be unlimited then.
Not sure if's it's worth recording though. Apparently it's only going to be streaming at 56k (the same as the Gwen click playing there now) so the quality is really poor. Still it's good of Superleague to put it up and i hope they'll continue.
