A couple of good fights on the night.
Dragomir Dubocanin Vs Mo Eddine was an awesome fight both boys left everything in the ring & i reckon a draw was a fair call.
Steve Mckinnon vs 'The Anvil' was a good fight the Serb fighter just kept coming forward even at times he was hurt but he still kept applying the pressure, but well done to Steve he deserved the win.
Janjusevic vs Spratt was a more technical fight, Spratt took a while to get going, (he was either intimidated by the Serbs punches or the crowd) but once he got going i thought he did enough to win, or worst case scenario draw.
In saying this though Spratt didn't fight his fight on the night, he seemed to try & fight the Serbs style.
Jovanovic vs Suttie was a good bout with both fighters going at it hard. Good win for Suttie.
Zambo vs Borovic was a good bout, great kick that sent Borovic down in the 2nd (looked similar to the one Sniper put on Ozkan)
After this it seemed Borovic was just using spoiling tactics to delay getting KOed.
The funniest part of this bout was in the 5th Borovic decided to start taunting Zambo after Zam threw a punch combo, not even a minute later Zam connects sweetly with an overhand right.

It was a great show the best Sydneys seen in awhile...great atmopshere with the Serbia crowd. 5000 people my estimate.
Looked good on TV... It would be good to have a few more shows like that in Sydney..Congradulations for Tarik & Aco Pucar ( Serbian Sponsor & supporter) for putting on a excellent event for Sydney. & to all the fighters & trainers who supported the show & fight fans.
Regards

Mo trained very hard for this fight, you can see his technique improve with all the bobbing and weaving he was doing when the Serb was throwing his hands around. Mo should have chopped more tho not got caught up in a boxing brawl, as the Serb was clearly hurt early...I agree, fight of the night. Nothing sensational, just a steady program. Would have been nice if they'd shown the Simon Black fight; I like watching this kid.
Hey Hammer and Shiv, thanks for the cheerio during the Mo fight, got about 3 phone calls from mates straight afterwards.

6000 sounds slightly better to non kickboxing fans.
We gotta try and talk our sport up a little when so many people are viewing on Fox sports.
Guys we gotta stop knocking our sport, theres already enough people of other sporting backgrounds doing it for us, let alone us doing it because we don't like such & such.
Just my thoughts.

Yeah but it's probably only kickboximg / MT fans that are on this site and read it so what does it matter... and if non kb / mt fans are reading this you just let them in on the "joke"...lol
Just put on QUALITY promotions with QUALITY evenly matched fights and the sport will look after itself and grow naturally...
Just you wait and see in Melbourne, with George Kolovos and Im putting together Australias best against the Thai's and Cambodians for a start, these shows will grow VERY quickly..

Great suggestion Nagas, I totally agree.
Surely you guys have noticed that there are a few blokes on here that are continuously bagging out anything that is non Muay Thai or WMC.
It's gotten so negative that I couldn't even be bothered defending fighters and promoters anymore. Pointless. I'm all for free speech and expressing one's opinion, but some of the arguments we see here are simply 'if it's not MT is crap' period, and 'If the fighter doesn't fight MT rules, he doesn't deserve credit for his accomplishments'.

I can't get Fox in the building I live in unfortunately. What a friggen let-down. The only way to get it is to try and get a couple of the 80 year old pensioners to sign a petition with me and then Fox might consider doing our units. But I was there live and totally agree with you about fight of the night, and about the Suttie fight Nagas, and also with Lucy. One of the better shows I've seen come from Sydney, let's hope Solak is willing to keep investing until he can fill the venue and get some money back on these huge seating capacity shows because the last one would have been lucky to break even.
My hat's off to Tarik for the last one. It was quite clear that they expected less than half capacity by the sections they had barred off. They would have had some indication from pre fight ticket sales, but they estimated door sales on the night pretty damn accurately. Anyway, I got the impression that this show was somehow just to give people a taste, and to build up spectator support for a bigger later show that would draw enough crowd to make a decent profit, because with only 4000 odd people there paying general entry prices, it's hard to imagine there would be much left after Venue hire, Security costs, purse and travel expenses for all the teams etc.

PaulC,
ring Foxtel, tell them your story and ask for a satellite installation. Loads of flat dwellers are getting satellite to counter the old ladies of the body corporate refusing to enter the current century...
