Ok i know this has been done before but i reckon we've lost one of THE best muay thai talents this state (NSW) had in Alexi Perkachyk (spelling ???? no idea). So i'd like to engage in a hunt for the guy, who wants to join in?!
If we can get some things straight we might be able to track him down.... Who did/does train him here in oz? Has he gone home? has he gone to another country? has anybody seen or heard of him competing in the last 12 months or so?
You're tops Alexi, where are you man?
Even if this was in vain at least i've tried to do my bit!

Yeah we have tried to find this out before. I think he has gone home a long time ago. Pity.

A waste not to have him fighting anymore.
But like everyone else,he would have his reasons.
Can't help but think that the "DRAWN" decision he coped against Baris would have gutted him some what.
Good technical fighter with excellent round kicks......
Yes.....ZDKBushido
Lets hope Ray or JNI can get him active again.
Maybe Arslan,Alexi, and co could take on a team of aussies at some stage.

Alexi is still in N.S.W but sadly he has chosen to retire from professional fighting to pursue a full time career in Website Development, he teaches kickboxing 2 times per week and i don't think he want's to fight again, sad but true!

You seriously have to wonder "why" a fighter of Alexi's calibre and skill walks away from the game here in Oz.
I last saw Alexi get absolutely robbed in his fight with Baris Nazef, where the points went down to a 'majority points draw'. Alexi came from a huge fighting background in Euro, and i'm sure bull****e results like this even wear down a fighter like him.
Add this to that fact that no one was putting him on decent promotions and there's your answer. Another great fighter walking away before making a big name for himself here... Its a shame.

Hey Mongo,
Nah that didn't happen to me mate. I still strain at home living the good life, but work committments as a goon in a suit is hard to mix with the full time commitment of fighting.
I'm also not comparible to the league that Alexi is in. Its a shame that I hear the same thing over and over again - fighters like Alexi, Hallford, and other top fighters hit the glass roof and that's it - nothing else to chase!
And its a wake up call to promoters like Tarik Solak to stop scraping the barrel with half ass opponents for fighters such as Zambidis, and put some credible top name Aussie fighters on our promotions.
