Gee can't wait for this one (tongue in cheek). No but seriously it will be interesting to see WHAT they actually show from what we've been told went on there. It will be all flowered over to look & smell pretty for Mr Solak i suppose, i wonder how much longer we'll have to put up with his 2nd rate (even though they're blown up to give the 1st rate impression) shows on fox. I feel sorry for the quality promoters who don't even get a look in ie. ISKA or WKA. It's sad to think that some of this country's finest fighters will never be shown the light even though they fight on ALL kinds of shows ALL over the country. But we WILL get to see the same ones again & again on fox.

Don't know about other parts of the country, but speaking for Brisbane and surrounding area, I can tell you for sure that the best fights I see these days are the ones that end up on Fox. I don't always agree with the first couple that they include (as you would be aware there are more fights on the night than those on TV) because I think they sometimes get it wrong there and show a scrappy fight at the beginning of the broadcast when there were better ones on the night.

Overall though, the best shows with the best fighters are almost always the ones on Fox in the last couple of years or so. Maybe they just need to get around to other states more?

Or maybe the best fighters that you are talking about could try travelling to get on the shows like Ray Matamura's and Evolution in Qld - easier said than done, I know.

I got a little hasty there i know. MAte don't get me wrong please, the QLD shows ARE definitely the ultimate of what we see on fox, including the battlegrounds, superleague (my next favourite), i was more directing my comments at the Solak sheete we've been exposed to over the past years, same fighters, same old story, make it look like a freaken super show, you know.

Hell yeah though, Matsamura shows are the bomb, they go off, no bull, just awesome fights (usually) but i have to say even then, same (great) fighters most of the time, all i'm saying is i'd like to see a broader range of fighers and different shows for a change, how good is it when you see a fighter for the first time & you say "wow that guys good, bet we'll see more of that guy or he has potential" then you never see them again?

No offence meant. I just reckon that titles like ISKA are some of the most sought after to have but they don't show their promos, i know about the i guess you could call it 'political' hidden agenda sheete so if you're hands not in the 'right' pocket you'll get nothing basically.

I gotta partial agree with silly billy here. ALL we ever get on FOX is solak ****e or arley jako UK stuff (all light guys/never heavier guys).

John from J.N.I promotions has as good sometimes alot better than solaks ****e. Johns fighters are evenly matched in weight and fight record,,unlike solak and his ****e.. Im speaking from personal experiences as i have been to both promotors shows.
p.s I dont mean solaks big shows ( ie NR & NR2)..Even Lucy Tui puts on a great show without it costing a weeks pay

1 of John's best shows was many moons ago at the Old sydney harbour casino ( Doltone House) Its called now. That was were John offered to give back peoples money cause Shane Meads Qld Fighter (some kinda champion i think) took off just before the fights and couldnt be found. then 4 hours later he was contacted and was already back in Qld @ his g/f house..hahahahha was funny crap...he made shane loose like 2kgs and we busted shanes arse out @ the casino's gym to make the weight and he flys off home
